You really think Oregon beats LSU? LSU is stacked next year and with a new OC they'll be able to do something finally

Oregon does return a lot of their stars. The LSU game will be their biggest test and it's first. I am sold on Oregon right now with that offense.

I know it's crazy, but Washington State really is in our conference, so according to your CU standings, we'd actually have gone 3-6 in conference.

BTW: I agree with a lot of your picks (and all of CU's games)

Oh ya, thanks for correcting me, that makes us 5th in the south because we win the tiebreaker with UCLA

too early

Ya thanks for adding another early to the one of many I already have in the posts.

I think Oregon loses a couple. Takes a really special team to go undefeated in the regular season in consecutive years.

I also think CU wins more than five.

Id call the UW game a coinflip and since ASU is later in the season... I'd prolly put that as a win...

Looking a little closer, I think you can flip Arizona and Arizona State. I think Arizona is due for a sizable step back in 2011. They were pretty bad down the stretch (lost their last five) and that early schedule is brutal. Add in them graduating all five starters on the OL and it looks like a losing season to me. Arizona State returns a lot and they have some difference makers, they just need to get something out of their offense.

Miles is 29 - 1 in his last 30 games vs non conference opponents. He also has a new OC who replaces a total idiot. The 2011 team sould be the best team LSU puts on the field since they won the national championship under Miles.

WE aren't losing to ****ing Hawaii in Embree's first game. C'mon Leash. Have some damn confidence in our staff. Hawk is gone now.

I agree. LSU will win in Dallas vs Oregon.

Oregon also has 2 losses total the last 2 seasons. It should be a great game and could go either way. Oregon is legit! That QB and LaMichael are back.

CU will pound the ball on the ground all day long at Hawaii and the Warriors won't be able to stop it.

ASU has a puncher's chance to actually win the South believe it or not ..

Think I'm going to go with not on that one. South is USC's to lose. Scandal or no scandal, they still have some real talent on that team, and they will be better than they were this year. I agree with you though, that our offense should be able to move the ball, on the ground and through the air against the Warriors. It's our defensive secondary that concerns me. If we can manage stops at critical moments, we should be able to out-gun them.

Slight correction, they have four losses total over the last two seasons. Still damn good though and they are legit. I just think LSU is better.

Usc aint' eligible to go the Pac 12 championship game. They probably will finish first but the 2nd place team will be playing in the Pac 12 title game.

Depth will be the only concern for SC as the season wears on. They don't have much of it with all the upperclassmen they lost to trasnfer and not as many schollies.
I just don't see very many teams being much of a threat for SC in the south. If SC was in the the north, they would finish 4th at best however behind Oregon, Stanford and Washington.

I mostly agree with all of it, but I do think we will beat Ohio State and that would give us 6 wins in the end and bowl eligibility.

I think we start out beating Hawaii by running the ball.
I think CU has a chance at Ohio St. because of the OSU suspensions and that Embo and Bienemy will have them ready.

CU will surprise either Oregon or USC in Boulder. Not both.

Utah will be tough on the road but by this time the offense should be clicking. Our closest road game hopefully we will travel well. I think it's a close game. Utah's D will struggle with the run.

Otherwise I agree with the original predictions

Hawaii does lose their good QB. forgetting his name but he was a senior last year. not ready to concede that one, but on the road....there's a lot of inertia working against us and our last two coaching "debuts" have been unmitigated disasters.

Historically, CU head coaches do not fare well in their first game. Only Neuhisel and Cabral have won their first games as Head Coach at CU. That Hawaii game is going to be tough.
