Percentages for commits

Here's what I believe:

Harlow - 40% - my gut is Wake Forest. Committed so long there. Having buddy Dorman may be enough for CU though.
Parker - 99% - silent commit.
Creer- 99% - he has no other options.
Willingham - 50% - I think he stays in state. If he were committed elsewhere (like A&M) would've announced earlier.
Lucien - 33% - I think he winds up at UCLA or Miami.
Nembot (sp?) - 30% - I think he sticks with Wash.
Martin - 90% - call me crazy but why visit if he wasn't concerned about USC. Biggest commit of the year IMO. No one else garnered a USC offer.

Parker - 99%
Creer - 99%
Willingham - 50%
Lucien - 50% (im guessing between us and UCLA. Miami is too far away from his momma)
Martin - 30%
Nembot - 45%

I think if we get 2 of the guys that aren't virtual locks, then we come out with a good class. Ideally we get Lucien and Martin. I personally would love for Willingham to commit, but it's not the end of the world if he doesn't (we have a boatload of lb's and Cabral is a baller coach). Nembot would be a good get too, but I'm not holding my breath for him either. What if we get all 6 of these guys? Then we're looking at 20 for this class??

I honestly just don't feel good about our chances for any of the guys other than Parker & Creer. I think Lucien will end up staying close to home (UCLA) and Willingham will leave home (Mich). Getting Nembot and/or Martin to flip would be great, just not sure I think there's a real shot of it happening.

Parker - 99%
Creer - 99%
Willingham - 25%
Lucien - 25%
Nembot - 20%

Kennard 1%
Foliaki .5%
Lovett .1%

I've got a good feeling about Willingham and Lucien, if only because CJ and Klatt are going to look like fools if we don't land one of these top players. I hope those guys are right about this class.

Parker 99%
Creer 99%
Willingham 60% Dad preferring CU should really help here since he doesn't seem to prefer one place over another.
Lucien 60% Seems like we have always been a subtle leader for him.
Martin 20% Sounds pretty into USC, maybe we can get him after USC drops him when they lose that appeal.
Nembot 50% Seems pretty 50/50 here, he's committed to UW, but I'm not sure there's much advantage for them there.

You know how this is going to go... they will rave about the guys we sign either way. I also hope Klatt knew what he was talking about, but I am not holding my breath.

BTW, if we swing and miss on Lucien/Willingham, I cannot wait to hear the spin.

I think I said this already but out of the Lucien/Willingham/Martin threesome, it goes like this:
0/3 Near disaster. Worst case scenario for this class. Straight Hawk.
1/3 Ok. Cherry on the class. Solid pickup, but a little dissapointing.
2/3. Good. Better than expected end to the class, and am impressive showing for a staff that was probably in as big a hole as any new staff that I can think of due to 2 years of horrible press and 4 to 5 months of ZERO recruiting.
3/3 Holy ****. Watch out Pac 12, Awesome.

And for fun..

Asiata: 25% :smile2:

We DEFINITELY need at least 1 of these guys. I would prefer Lucien if I had to choose. It would be nice to have 2 of the LB's from Mullen though.

Solid post. At least we should know early in the day on Willingham. If we strike out on all three, that will really suck. Anyway, still confident about Lucien, not as much on Willingham, and I consider Martin a longshot.

Stealing Asiata would be nice too, but signing him will be just the beginning of that saga.

Agree, which is why I don't see him as a must get at all, just icing. It seems like he's always been a longest of shots, especially now with some USC guys changing commitments.

Rumors of a very highly backup plan to Lucien who will commit after NSD without a visit. Academic risk, though. Lucien is the top target at WR.

(Got this from a Rivals member who didn't disclose the player. Look at highly rated WRs from California who are uncommitted right now and you'll quickly get to a short list of possibilities.)

Someone has to be optimistic in recruiting, I may have given Willingham too much though.

Willingham-35%
lucien-40%
Martine-0%
Nembot-0%

If they get lucien and willingham that would be a great finish, no DT's still sucks.

0% on Nembot. Maybe you get your DT this year if you show some hope. Can I get a 1%?

Why, so I toe the line? It's my opinion, I stand by it. If I'm wrong i'm sure the cyber friends network here we'll let me know it.

Years of poor D line recruiting should make you jaded, but he did visit. Isn't that worth a measly 1%? I am superstitious. If you refuse to edit your post, then you'll give us the jinx.

Syko is hitting us with the reverse mojo. Getting him to admit there is any possibility of things working out well for us with DL recruiting would be the jinx. Just roll with it.

Well, Syko strikes me as a guy that would have a lot of reverse mojo. Nembot is ours.

You guys pump the sunshine and I'll keep posting what I think will happen. Sorry, the last 5 years killed my eagerness to label everything as the "greatest'. I hope you are correct, getting Nembot would be awesome, just don't think it will happen.

Its really a bit disturbing about all the mom references here...but that's cool. My very rough estimate for commits are as follows:

Lucien: 49.95% Mommy wants him close to home so UCLA has the edge but Mom didn't go on the U trip. Moms veto Dads.
Willingham: 51.95% Daddy wants him close to home so we are in the lead. Gotta think Logan is in his ear.
Asiata: 98.6 degrees - Normal body temp. Did he go on the retreat with Parker last week? They have a dual announcement me thinks
Parker: 99% I agree with you who think he is a silent commit. Last night Joel whispered that to me after dessert and a back rub.
Creer: 100% He has man love for EB
Martin: 25% Tough call. If SC sanctions are in play, this might be close to 50%
Nembot: 80% He stayed through Sunday evening on his visit on a gorgeous Boulder day and got an earful from Embree and Marshall.
Harlos: 70% At Wake, BZ might ask him to be a point guard. He and Stevie are pretty tight and Texan's don't do well on the East coast.

Does the winner get a burrito here or what?
