Kinda Cool Court Designs

I actually kinda like CU's and LSU's designs...If the mountains were more gray than white and the lines were either dark dark dark black or really bright white I think they have something there.

Ours is actually pretty cool. The court colors contrast well and make the lines visible. While not perfectly practical it would be cool to have a decent court design.

The court for Hawaii looks like a childs art project

The UNLV court has been done before.......just look at the mudflaps of any big rig.

They completely missed the boat on the nubbies. Not wheat dummies, cornstalks ferchrissakes.

CU's is sharp, but I'm not sure the copy-cat route is the best way to go.

i liked the first Sox Walseth Court we had in about Chauncey's era. simple, looked good.

there seems to be some race these days to have the most gigantic center-court logo....KU, Texas, ATM, etc. ATM has the weirdo parquee floor, in the mix. Aggy is all about understatement.....and trying too hard to be "unique". Baylor still has the "basketball" icon in the key....i guess it's true that Waco is about 15 years behind reality because that was "fresh" in about 1996. even Nebraska dumped that "look" a couple years ago at the always hip Devaney Center. Bob Devaney was a guy who was a trendsetter.

then, there are the "signature" floors...Norm Stewart and Eddie Sutton. it's basketball, not the MOMA. Missouri ****ed up their new crib twice....first naming it after a cheating USC Walmart heiress....and then the floor was too white or something. watching a game on TV at Gallegher-Iba is like vertigo. the wide angle shot looks like a helicopter.

Yea the wheat would've been a better fit for KU or KjSU.

Exhibit A would lead me to believe that the plural of penis is penis. They wouldn't all want the same penis right? If they did, I believe that's called the jackpot.

Counterpoint: a) They are probably sluts. b) Maybe they were going for peniseses , but just didn't have enough friends.

Vertict: undecided

I think the idea that Oregon had was actually pretty good - but it looked awful in execution. I wouldn't mind CU doing something like that with the Flatirons, but a little bit toned down from what Oregon did.
