Baylor at Texas

I checked in and Texas was destroying them 38-19. Decided to keep it on in the background and now it's 61-57 UT with 3:20 to play.

With Lace Dunn and Perry Jones, Baylor's pretty much got the best two players on the court every game. It's a good thing for everyone else that Baylor isn't always interested or playing as a team.

It's deja vu all over again...

Texas goes to sleep again. Give them a 15-point lead, and they'll blow it every time. Tech got to within 6 and then their great coach called off the dogs. Now Baylor's done the same - get within 4 and then shut it down. Texas lack of interest in free-throw shooting will lead them to a quick and early loss.

texas is legit this year. I'm not a Barnes fan, and I hate UT...but they're a team to keep an eye on for sure (not national champion caliber, but they're good). I also disagree with the lace dunn/perry jones comment on being the two best players on the court. I think tristan thompson may end up being a star (if he doesn't leave too early for the nba)

A bunch of UT's wins this year have been by a very wide margin, they haven't blown to many, and haven't given up the lead. It's interesting watching this team do so well this year, as last year was the year everyone thought was going to be the year we would make a title run. Dogus Balbay has also been getting in on the offensive game, which he has never done before, adding a new layer to the team. If they keep up the defense and make the free throws, as mentioned above, they could make a good run. If I wanted to beat them, I would apply a "hack-a-dogus" strategy down the stretch.
