Allbuffs Season Tix?

Yeah, but I haven't received the renewal form yet. I'll call the ticket office and see what's going on.

Thanks for the reminder. That's usually out by now.

I got my renewal email this morning. Packages are mailing out today according to an article that was in the Camera today.

For some of you considering season tix for the first time, there are some good deals on the entry level season tix. They dropped some prices and took away the mandatory donation on some seats.

P.S. The Cal home game is confirmed.

So what is the Allbuffs season ticket thing? Do we pool our money an have a group of tix like timeshare? Or do you all just try and get seats together?

I would like to get season tix this year is there a price list to look at for those of us who are not renewing? The website just asks me to give them a $100 waitlist deposit and has no information on how much they are going to be. Thanks to that article I realize they are reasonably priced, but I still dont like the idea of putting down the deposit for something I have very little idea of the final cost or where the seats are.

sorry if this is a repost but I dont think my earlier one went through

Here's the deal on the allbuffs season tickets:

We currently hold two season tickets. We will probably increase that to four this year. We get donations from various allbuffs members to chip in to buy the tickets. The tickets come to me, personally, but are in the name of allbuffs.com. Once I get enough funds to go buy the tickets, I go to the ticket office and pay for them. We have a process for passing out the tickets. What we've done in the past is have a drawing for the tickets each week. Any allbuffs.com member can apply for tickets, but can only win them once per year. If we go up to four as anticipated, we'll have two pairs of tickets to give away each week. The seats aren't great, but they're OK, in the South End Zone, upper level.

Are the seats affected by the new lower prices?

I don't know. I haven't seen the renewal form yet. It's possible. We buy the cheap seats. Even though they're cheap, I happen to think they're pretty good seats. You get a great view of the game from there.

so, that's $225 per ticket for the entire season? So, $450 would get me season tix for the year?

From the looks of things, that's $120 per seat for our tickets which I believe are in section 212.

That's $480 for the season if we buy four tickets.

Going back to the original thread that FC linked, the following have agreed to contribute:

That's 23 people. At $22 each, that will cover four season tickets at $120 each, with a little left over. The first thing I'm going to do is verify that we can get 4 tickets in section 212. Concurrent to that, I'd like to have all of these folks re-confirm that they're on board for a $22 contribution. I'll get in touch with each of you individually to get you an address to send the money to.
Thanks everybody in advance! You guys make allbuffs the best website on the interwebs!

And btw - kalbuff really should be contributing to this. I mean, really.

Update - I'll be editing this list and changing the color of the names of people who have paid to Burnt orange, just to piss people off.

At 120 bucks Junc should just man up and get his own season tix cause theres no way he will ever win a drawing.

In - as a newbie, not on the list, brand new, wont find my name anywhere else but here, but very interested in chipping in some cash towards the tix, but Im not on the list, is that cool?

Sacky asked that those of us who committed to donate money toward tickets to re-confirm.

Some of the names saying they're "in" don't match up with his list.

OK, here's the deal:

Four tickets costs $520 after all their little extras are added in. They can get us four seats together. I need to start collecting from folks right away. Assuming everybody who has indicated they're in stays in, and maybe one or two more (as indicated in this thread), a donation of $21 per person should cover everything. I'll start sending out PMs to folks who have committed.

PMs just went out to everybody who had initially signed up with the exception of Scottybuff, who has a full inbox. Scotty, if you read this, clear out your inbox (or just pay the $15 for the membership and get more space).
