PAC-12 logo to be unveiled on March 16

Doesn't it look just like the new Pac-10 one except the 10 will be changed to a 12? Not much to unveil there.

I am thinking the same way but I believe they will also unveil other logos as well plus the Pac-12 logos with each member's colors so we could also be seeing the Pac-12 logo that will be used at Folsom Field at the CEC.

Each athletic team will be required to have a Pac-12 logo on the jerseys as well just like every Pac-10 team had a Pac-10 logo on their jerseys.

I believe the letter smay be slightly slanted, which Larry Scott was able to get somebody to do on their iPad for $50 bucks. He didn't get a brand new brand or anything like Benson did, but a pretty good job just the same if you ask me.

Hopefully we'll see the official CU Pac-12 logo designs. The ones in my sig are just mock-ups done by a guy on Rivals. Probably close, though.

I had actually thought your sig was the real deal....just using CU colors.

It would be funny if Larry Scott introduced a fake version with roman numerals first, just to be a jackass and take a dig at Beebe.

Stay classy man. Brooks from the CU site said that CU will be distributing t-shirts saluating CU's 15 years in the Big 12. We don't need to be Nub fans making up fake stories about Beebe's daughter being abducted.

True. Beebe has enough on his plate with his new duties as Mack Brown's pool boy....

i've heard you have to pay up of 700,000$ to get a new logo....or else it sucks. or you can pay the 7 large, and have it still kind of suck.

Somebody has to make money here. Hopefully the recent news of UO's...I mean Nike's...payments for recruiting services doesn't hurt the Pac-12's negogations for the new TV contract.

yeah, but in CU's case...why not let the Leeds school or design people *on campus* (heck, make a system wide contest).....spread much less than that around. instead, hire some outside firm. you can spend 7 large or invest 7 large back into CU?

when i was in grad school, i had to beg to make photocopies and stole food out of carts at UMC catering....after events, of course...lived on 15,000 a year in Boulder, Colorado...but then CU can throw down 700,000 for this?

Was that logo actually designed by Nike? I thought Reebok had the rights to the NFL

Give me that logo any day over the new "streaky" logo that is the trend with NFL logo's these days.

i was on the bike going home the other day and saw a dude with an old school D snorty logo ball cap on the creekpath.....i yelled "Denver Broncos"...and i'm not EVEN a big Bronco guy. i'm a CU guy, Colorado native. pro sports, whatever mostly.

guy yells "hell, yeah".

sweet cap.
