Thought this might be fun.

Post what seed, who we'll play, and where at.

If you guess were in one of the play-in Dayton games you have to also say who we play and where when we win.

ps JRK feel free to guess our NIT opponent because you have no faith.

Winner gets some rep.

12 seed playing St. Mary's in the play in round in Dayton. Winner plays Vanderbilt in Chicago.

I have faith. I just dont jump to conclusions like many people here have.

In Dayton against Virginia Tech, winner plays Vandy in my home-town (Chicago). Ostensibly as the "last team in."

OK let me try this again - they're not going to have 2 teams from the same conference meeting in the first or 2nd round.

I know... doesnt mean I dont really really want it to happen again. Kick their butts at altitude and send that back to manhattan with their tail between their legs. I dont think they would have any smart remarks after that.

Hate to break it to you but it's almost a guarantee that we won't end up in Tulsa because KU and Texas should end up there and they wouldn't have 2 Big 12 teams meeting in the 2nd round.

OK, we get it. You are Carolina Buff. You know more about college hoops than we could possible fathom.:bang:

it just makes the most sense, we aren't going to be playing in Denver or Tulsa, so it makes sense we go to Tampa.

They split the regions up amongst the sites. Having KU or UT in Tulsa doesn't necessarily preclude CU from being there. We'd just have to be placed in a separate regional bracket.

But, yes, your're correct. Teams from the same conference cannot theoretically meet before the elite-8 unless there's no other option (Big East falls into this)

It's obviously a moot point now but yes, it would've precluded us from being there because you have to remember that the winners of the other games would be facing KU and UT respectively, in Tulsa.
