Rallying Time

We all need to vent and bitch and moan and kick small creatures (like KSU fans) today. We got ****ed. Period.

But tomorrow, we need to rally. The team needs us. As much pain/anger/disappointment we're feeling, they're feeling it times 100. So let's sell out the games for the NIT. Let's rock the Foam Dome. The students are on spring break, so we're all going to have to pick up the slack for the students who have been amazing this year.

I'm going to do everything I can to be at every home game the rest of the year. Who's with me?

CU = 69!

Do student CU season tickets include potential NIT games? or are those separate?

That's a good question. I imagine non-student season tickets are the same situation. Hopefully the students can still get in without having to buy more tix. We need as much help as we can get.

FILL THE FOAM DOME/KEG!

I may adjust my route to Washington state (and huck the fuskies) specifically to be in Boulder for the first NIT game. All depends on what day it is.

Spring break is the week of the 21st, so students will be around for any games this week.

If we are not a #1 or #2 seed in the NIT there needs to be a full on investigation into these selection committees. Anything less than that would be outrageous.

No we better be the #1 overall seed no questions asked nobody can even argue against us for that

I remember going to NIT games back in the early 90's against Arkie State and WYO and the place was rockin. I think the Buffs made the semis that year.

Everyone get to the Foam Dome. 5 PM start on Wednesday as we take on Texas Southern.

You would have to pay me millions of dollars to attend an NIT game. It doesn't mean anything. We should have turned down the offer to play in the tournament.

at some point we need to make a business decision. Yes we got hosed, but we have a chance for the program to make 150 to 200k per game, which is nice. Plus we get the extra practice.

Tell that to Baylor who won the NIT 3 years ago, then went to the Elite 8 last year and got the number 1 overall recruit this year. It can do big things for a program, the competition level will still be high and its still a tournament mentality which will help a lot when we make the real dance next year. Go Buffs

Hopefully the NIT will afford an opportunity for a lot of our non-seniors to make some strides and gain confidence heading into next season. Job #1 is to win. But this is also important.

I went to CU vs. Pepperdine NIT game in 1999. March Madness is was not.

Feeling March Rage this morning... didn't think it was possible to be more upset than I was last night, but it's worse today.

Going to the NIT didn't help Baylor. Having a better team the next year helped Baylor. (also shady recruiting practices that will be the focus of an investigation soon...)

and you don't think the extra games and practices had anything to do with that?

Screw that. I'm going to the game and I'm screaming my head off. I'm supporting the team for the incredible year they've given us.

Is there going to be an AllBuffs meeting at the Dark Horse pre-game?

I went online and bought my same four seats for the first game. Looking forward to another home game with the seniors. Very nice of Coach Boyle to pay for the students tickets.
Go Buffs!

it probably cost him 20k to do that, since tickets were $4 a pop for students. I hope they show up and get crazy.

Just bought my season tickets for Wednesday's game. Those poor kids from Texas Southern are going to have a lot of Buff fans' anger towards the NCAA committee spewed towards them...

GO BUFFS!

I hope you're right, and wrong. I hope the place is jumpin' and the Buffs go up by a huge margin. Then, the subs can play and the crowd can treat the visiting team a little nicer.

Definitely, GO BUFFS!

bought my season tickets for the game as well. Hoping our guys can get over this or at least not have it cost us a game and really do well in the tourney.
