The third Westside offensive player we have offered. Seems to be quite a difference in reported heights on the three major sites.

Yeah. It's so hard to tell, especially this time of year with prospects. Kids aren't done growing, most measurements haven't been camp verified, and 5'10" is the default number kids use to say "I'm kind of short, but I don't want it to seem like I'm under-sized for D1 football".

Bieniemy probably said he was 5'10" when he was coming out of high school. :wink2:

Favoring Colorado and Trying to visit for the spring game with 2 of his teammates per AZ twitter

Sounds like the staff is definitely hoping to bring in ~30 guys next year with this emphasis on guys who can enroll early

Welcome to the Black and Gold!!!

(Silver and Gold, but, you know...)

Adam's twitter is confirming now as well.

Nice pickup and I am happy he comes from Houston to boot. Keep an eye on Catalon's recruitment all the way to January though. A local offer from Texas schools might change things, but very happy we are being aggressive with early commitments. Hope we can erase most of his doubts when he visits for the Spring game.

Adam is also reporting the commitment.

Welcome to the Buffs, Mr. Catalon!

Welcome aboard! Excited to see you sprinting past the rest of the Pac 12. Bring your friends along with you...its cool there invited.

He is an EE.

I like it when you confirm good things.

Also, going to be interesting to see how good at defense this staff is. We know they rock at offense, but CU fans haven't seen a staff play defense in years. I mean, hell, what little guys we did get early (for hawk), seemed to decommit. Damn you munchie!

Welcome aboard young man! Hopefully the first of many successful raids into TX on the recruiting trail for the Buffs.

By all reports both JE and EB are seen as being very honest and up front with the people they deal with, no hidden agendas, no BS. This is going to make it hard for other schools to pry guys away from them. Add to this that they are both very hard workers and have the credibility from their prior coaching jobs and playing experience and I am not as worried about decommits as I used to be.

You always gotta worry a bit about every commit up until the LOI is faxed in, but getting an OOS commit before a visit to Boulder is a very good sign IMO.
