You started a thread without the video?

That was a fabulous dunk. Cal was absolutely gassed by that point, and Sharpe really elevated. Totally got the crowd into it at the end of the game. I wish Sharpe was a better ball handler, though. You don't really need your point guard to be making spectacular dunks.

Its on the highlights at cubuffs.com. I thought Roberson dunk was better. Burks is gone after this season, I think Roberson wont stay after his sophomore season either.

Not sure about Roberson. He still need much more time to develop his offense ability

no way! he's been great defensively, but his shooting needs MAJOR work and his free throws are a mess. You dont play in the NBA because you can play defense, you need to score points, shoot from the arc, etc. I don't see him as an NBA prospect at all until his offensive abilities improve greatly. Hell be here until hes a junior at least

Not to mention there isn't room for skinny 6'7 power forwards. At Dre's size, he'd have to play the 3. I love his game, but he won't be playing in the NBA in the next two years. (Of course, there might not be anyone playing in the NBA for the next two years)

Roberson is good, but he is not a "two and done" type talent. He needs a lot of maturing. If he went to the draft right now, he wouldn't be drafted. So, Jerry, are you saying he'll go from not in the draft to a first rounder in one year?

If you want to throw up in your mouth, after the video, there is a college kid interviewing Bzdelic during his brief CU tenure. What a douche.

quick on Roberson - he is a four year player...do not understand why some think he is going to leave after his junior season. Getting a little to ahead of yourselves in my opinion.

Sharpe is a great dunker. He had a video highlight over the summer that someone posted on these boards, and he was amazing. He can throw down for sure. I really hope he develops. With Askia and Spencer coming in next year, we don't necessarily need him to be a top floor general, but if he can become a lockdown defender (which he has the athletic ability for), he'd become invaluable to the team.

This has probably shown up in another thread prior to my joining allbuffs, but that shouldn't stop us from admiring the dude's skills again...

Hopefully Sharpe was only doing the Tarzan chest pound after the dunk because he knew the game was almost over. But still, he needs to remember that the game continues and he needs to get back on defense even if he did just score one spectacular dunk.

Waaah let him celebrate. 47 seconds and up by 15, I think it was done.

although i see your point, the fact of the matter is that coach boyle did a full scale line up switch prior to the dunk...

yeah...that's right...

five in five out.

no starters were on the court for the last 3:30 of the game.

that pretty much signals confidence from the coaching staff that the game is well in hand...and that the guys on the court know how to handle the situation...
