The ultimate outcome aside, that was a fun basketball experience to be a part of. The band kicked serious @ss - especially the tubas! - and CU fans were out in force and into the game. All in all, CU has much to be proud of.

Hard for me to say. Certainly seemed like more Buff fans than Bama fans, or at least we were louder and more into the game. The arena was less than half full but I'd guess 55-60% of those there were CU supporters. Bro Jimmy's was packed with black and gold before the game. The whole subway ride home we saw Buff hoodies, t-shirts and hats.

Proud to be a Buff.

Overall turnout was pretty crappy and the size of the arena made it look even worse. That being said I think Buff fans made up 60%+ of those in attendance. If I had to put an estimate on it I would say MSG was only at 25-30% of its ~20k capacity.

The Buff fans were definitely louder than the Bama fans on TV. The crowd really got loud compared to what it was once CU got back into the game.

Glad to hear it came across that way on tv because it sure felt that way in MSG. Agree completely with ski - overall turnout was pathetic - but after that awful excuse of a game 1 it was cool to see CU fans bringing ALL the energy.

I said it earlier but want to reiterate: the Buff band made Bama's token attempt look beyond lame. Better song choice, better sound, better hair cuts , way more enthusiasm spirit.

MSG is a dump. Fitting home for the Rangers and Knicks.

The band was great. I said hello to our resident tuba player. I also got to chat with Bohn and DiStefano at Bro Jimmy's.

No doubt. They just started a big renovation project but its nothing more than a multi million dollar band aid. Any other city would have torn that place down 20 years ago and started over.
