CU Spring game will be webcast

Looking at the CUbuffs.com website this morning, I see that the CU spring game is going to be webcast.

That is good to know. It'll be nice to be able to watch - even from OKlahoma.

our game is on a webcast and UT was on ESPN...larry scott needs to get this fixed

Speaking of that, did you watch any of the UT spring game? Mack Brown has serious problems. It is like Chris Simms v. Major Applewhite all over again down there.

Gilbert is awful. He will be replaced as a starter by the time conference play starts, if not before.

he will, if nothing else I bet we'll see a majority of the Pac-12 spring games on our network.

What amazed me was how they set it up for Gilbert to be successful every time he was playing - while making it more difficult for McCoy. For example - Gilbert ran with the 1st team offense against the 2nd / 3rd team defense - ALL DAY. Gilbert also ONLY played with the wind at his back. In spite of these things he was AWFUL.

McCoy is short, but he seems to be a gamer. I predict he'll be the starter for them. If he isn't - and they go with Gilbert - expect a new coaching staff in Austin for 2012.

I'm excited to watch our spring game online, good move CU.

As far as the situation in Austin:

Speaking of that, did you watch any of the UT spring game? Mack Brown has serious problems. It is like Chris Simms v. Major Applewhite all over again down there.

The inside info is that the coaching staff drew up a bunch of setups and plays to make sure that little Case McCoy would have the best game and best numbers in the spring game. This was to get McCoys confidence up and get the media talking about him - as he had been horrible and down on himself throughout the spring practices.

Gilber is not really a leader, and lacks the winning attitude (and gayness) of someone like Tim Tebow.

Connor Wood is UT's best QB, very mobile, quick decision maker - they decided to redshirt him last year instead of little McCoy because he was better. You will be hearing a lot about him soon

I was really looking forward to watching.....finished watching Rory kick ass, and was primed for the Buffs.

Well that's one way to make sure people go watch the game live.

I think it's free to get in to watch the game at Folsom. $10 to watch online sounds about right.

Well...for guys like you and me that make significant financial contributions to the program who are out of town, you think we would get some consideration....

I guess $10 isn't that much more of a contribution....

There will be plenty of people to give summaries of the game before too long.

True on both points. But, organizations that are interested in good customer/client service know when to take care of their best supporters, even it it is a measly ten bones....Bohn should know that.

Why try to make a couple of bucks on the spring game? How about give your fans something for putting up with garbage the last 5 years?

That's a good point. Why not send donors above a certain amount a code for free access to things like this that you otherwise have to pay for? Cost would be minimal, it would probably build some interest in the webcasts, and some goodwill with the donors...

I paid. I was pissed at first but it has proven to be worth it.

I love the running game. Speedy is doing his thing but I LOVE Ford. He is the kind of runner we need.
Also, I'm very psyched about how descent Hirschman is. TH is the man but Hirsch is a very serviceable back up. I'm no longer am worried that if TH goes down we are screwed, Hirsch can get it done.

Oline looks much more dominant that I've seen in the last several years.

Overall, I love the attitude on this team. a real grit and nastyness to them. they are hungry and it is good.

All of the above was well worth $10 for me. I can sleep knowing that we won't be the joke of the P12 next year.
