A CB who loves to hit! Ill take it. The big run at 1:30. At the end he lowers his shoulders and smack the **** out of the tackler. Gotta love it.

His teammate Jordan Payton talked us up quite a bit after his unofficial visit to Boulder. I hope we can get them both to visit officially in the fall. He is also on the same 7-on-7 team with guys like Brandon Beaver.

He was the defensive backs MVP at the LA Nike Camp over the weekend. He does not have the size of other top California CBs (Beaver, Seymour, Marsh, etc.), but he is very physical. Hope we can get him to Boulder for a visit.

Fantastic quote from a new Scout interview:

"I'm always thinking about Colorado, because there's an opportunity for me to do big things up there and come in and start."

He's likely to take his time and commit at the Army All-American game. We're definitely in the mix here.

How come this feels like one of those situations where USC pops in and suddenly becomes the leader?

how about the best from the west and east coasts... We would own the best CB's From Sea To Shining Sea!!!

Ishmael Adams is nowhere near making his decision but a few Pac-10 schools are standing out - mainly Oregon, Arizona State, Washington, Oregon State and Colorado - and the Ducks could be considered a slight frontrunner.

Obviously Adams has an impressive list of schools in which to pick from have any schools begun to separate from the pack?

"A few," Adams said. "Not anything definite, but UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Arizona State, Colorado, and Notre Dame."

looks like hes planning on visiting on an unofficial.

Adams plans on using all of his officials before deciding. "I don't really know when I will make my decision but I do know I am going to take all of my trips. Before he takes all of those official visits, he plans on making quite a few more unofficial trips. "I am trying to go to Oregon, Colorado, Washington, and Arizona State on the west coast. Then I want to take a trip back East and check out East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, and North Carolina. Now that school is out I am going to sit down with my parents and get some dates figured out."

With that many schools all offering, I can't imagine what it must be like to try to make a decision. I suppose you start eliminating schools and whittle it down to 2-3 that you would feel comfortable with, and go from there.

One other note about Adams-he was the third leg on Oak Christian's 4x100 relay team that just won the California state championship.

C'MON Ishmael get to boulder for a visit and pick the black and gold. A first rounder and a fourth rounder at his position. Obviously his possible future coach knows a thing or two about developing NFL caliber CB's.

I would not be so quick to give up on Adams. He does seem to have a consistent top three, but I think he is going to take all five official visits and we have a decent chance to be one of those visits.

lets see how the season shakes out there Ishmael. Who knows who will be coaching UCLA, and cal... well, nobody knows wtf cal will be like .

Glad we are in the discussion, but we really really need some of these guys that are elite D athletes to come our way.
