Was given this last night by someone on this board (feel free to take credit).

Unconfirmed so far.

Plimpton obviously has to put on some weight for this level, but he was a very good player on one of the best teams in the west (Chaparral won the AZ 5A championship). Could definitely be a guy who develops with a redshirt and time in Blacken's training program. I always like bringing in winners, too.

Rivals story says he will be Fullback

Adam said that he's also reporting in at 5'11". I'll be interested to see him play (good for a FB). So glad we're getting back to playing smashmouth Buffs football.

Wonder how he came to the decision. Might have just gotten tired of playing football or may have decided that he wasn't going to be able to make it on the field.

I think he realized that he was way behind the other FBs and wasn't going to be able to be an OL. Good HS football player who probably would have been a really good D3 OL.

Kind of a tough choice for kids. Go to a smaller school where you can play or try to play at the highest level. If you can't make it at the higher level you miss out on playing, if you go to the small school you always wonder if you couldn't have played at the higher level and missed something.

I hope that in the end his time as a Buff was a good experience for him.
