Nice use of the sarcasm font.

Seriously though, I think I like him more as a CB. And that is NOT a diss to his WR skills. Very deceptive hips on either O or D. Great finisher on plays, either fighting through blocks or delivering them. He plays angry. Ball hawking, not afraid to hit. I think he had almost as many yards on pick returns as he did catching for his team . The play at 1:10 is :wow: jaw dropping. Deceptively fast since he is a long strider.

Anyone know what his competition level is like? He looked like he was playing way to many SWB's to me (only concern)

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he ended up at corner or safety. He likes to hit, too. What impressed me on the film is that no matter where he lined up, he made big plays.

Edit: Sierra Canyon is in the private school LA league. Not the top competition in the city and they're a new program (4 years old and started as 8-man football). Program to watch. Went 12-2 last year.

This kid looks great. I love watching videos of kids that are super aggressive. He looked a little too lanky to play CB to me, but I can definitely see him playing safety and putting those ball skills to use. Or he could always play WR and be a beast there.

“I’m still committed to UA,” Brooks said. “I really want to wait and see how the coaching search goes and see who they hire. I also want to take some other visits and I’m looking at setting a trip to Colorado right now. I’m not in any hurry to make a final decision here. I’m going to take my time with the process and find the best place for me.”

ASU is recruiting him as a safety. I would guess we are as well.

Do we want him as a safety? Could be as a WR with the unfortunate situation with Pdub and the uncertainty with Vincent. Pretty good player, I'd take him as a WR or a safety.

looks like the Peyton williams knee injury is gonna force the staff to take another WR.

Oregon offered today and he will visit Friday. It sounded as though this is because Thomas Johnson is going to A&M.

Anyone know what's going on here? I thought it was down to Oregon or UCLA, but he remains unsigned.

Finally signed... with Nevada. Great pickup for them.

In the end, he went where he had a connection and a level of comfort. Brooks' HS quarterback, Tyler Stewart, had already signed with Nevada for this class.
