Yes Bruce is a Cal Legacy kid. But he has a lot of strong ties to Colorado. He was recently named to the Badger Elite Vegas All Tournament team and will be taking a visit to Boulder after leaving Notre Dame in two weeks.

Still no offers, but he was a top performer at the LA Nike Camp over the weekend, although it was at WR instead of CB.

lot of kids making a nice little spring vaca. Very cool.

No doubt...Sunny & clear today & hopefully tomorrow morning

I think that drive down 36 top of the hill coming into the Boulder on a sunny clear day can definitely make a kid want to commit right there & then.....wow's me every damn time and I've done it hundreds of times

Still gets me too. Especially on a day like today with the perfect temperature and the snow in the mountains...

Every time the band returns to Boulder on buses via 36, we always sing the Alma Mater just as we crest the hill. The sight of the Flatirons while singing those words brings a tear to my eye each and every time. Just thinking about it gives me chills...

This guy looks like a HB, and could be a good one. I think at HB his 4.6 40 won't hurt him. Very good looking runner.

He is not going to play HB in college. He has exclusively worked at WR or DB in camps. Really solid athlete and will be just fine at either position.

I'll have to watch is the limited highlights but the guy looks like a natural at HB. Haven't seen much of him at DB so i'll reserve judgement on that. He could be another position versatile HB/WR's that EB's been recruiting to Boulder. It's going to be fun to see how that role plays out in our offense.

When he came in for Junior Day, it sure sounded like the staff was recruiting as a pure slot receiver. I am pretty surprised he only has one offer right now.

I only think it will be fun if it's because we're getting the ball to a playmaker like Robert Lewis. If we're making it a point to get the ball to DD Goodson or Dalis Bruce, I will not be having very much fun.

Not trying to hate on these two, but to me, the "Percy Harvin" role is designed because Harvin is such a good playmaker. You go out of your way to design plays to get Harvin the ball in space because he can do amazing things with it. I just don't think Bruce or Goodson fit that bill.

Agree. Robert Lewis is on a different level than the other two. Speed is such a big component of the "Percy Harvin role," which is why Robert Lewis, Gerald Thomas, and De'ante Gray all caught my eye right away.

Named in the LA Times headline. Not just the punt return, but also an interception and 3 catches (including a touchdown).

The "Athlete" tag is definitely appropriate. Get him in and find a position.

Thanks for the info, Guapo_22.

Will you be at the next game to give us a report?

Really hope Cal does not offer. Give me Bruce and Harper out of Cali and call it a day at WR and CB, outside of blue chips.

Probably next week...Big game in LA on the 9th Lakewood vs. Bosco. Bruce and Treggs and Gilmore and Powe. But I will get a report from the coaches from tonights game and pass on to you guys.

Cal has really been lagging on him. He also transferred from NorCal to SoCal so should be interesting to see if college interest shifts for him. He and Jeff went up against each other at Cal's mini camp this summer.

Bruce expolded against Poly last week be interesting to see what he does tonight. Bruce Update:

Dalis Bruce shines in opening scrimmage against PAC-5 Division power Long Beach Poly. His first touch resulted in a 75 yd punt return for the game's first touchdown. Below is a recap of Dalis' performance
