Texas WR Transferring

Colorado was listed on his Rivals page, probably have a shot. Would love to see him in BNG.

If he wants to transfer to CU, he might have to wait until after June 30 since I don't know if the Big 12 transfer rules still apply.

Is there any difference whether they do the paper work now or on July 1st? He´d have to sit a season anyway, right?

If you transfer within your own league you must sit two years. CU is still part of the B12 until July 1st but I don't think that would matter in the end.

I don't think you have to sit two years...you sit one year but also lose a year. Suppose I am a rFr and transferred to a school within the conference, I would have to sit out my Soph year due to NCAA rules and lose that Jr. year so that means I would be a redshirt Sr when I play or something like that.

If you recall that Travon Patterson nearly couldn't suit up for CU because CU had to follow the Pac-10 transfer rules last season in addition to the Big 12 transfer rules.

Does not sound like we have much of a shot, but I am more than happy to sign all high schoolers in the 2012 class and help balance the depth chart a bit more.

Do not want. This guy barely saw the field for a 5-7 team. Don't eat a schollie for this.

If you read the article, you'd know it was due to injury. Evaluate his health and decide based on that. But he's going to Grambling, anyway.

BK might still see some potential in this guy then convince him to sit out a year and heal up. The article I read only mentioned the leader was Grambling.

I agree. This guy has pro potential. I think he'll want to stay BCS D1.

No coach in America knows this kid like Kennedy. I think if Kennedy wants him, we'd be in the mix. Seen nothing to suggest Kennedy wants him.

The injury thing mentioned is an excuse. If he's healthy now, injuries last spring are irrelevant. There might be something more to this such as grade issues. Grambling State isn't exactly UT or CU.

Considering our inability to recruit WRs the first time around, we could use another transfer to replace Clemons.
