Whore Eagle

“We used more of them because he brought in large numbers of recruits, trying to build the program back up” said Sue Locklar, on-campus recruiting coordinator. “We started going through a very hard selection process.”

You bet they do!

There have to be at least some minor recruiting violations with this setup. They're university employees. Sounds like at the least they have been providing transportation to unofficial visits.

Look at when Nolen got some of her biggest checks....I think Zeke Pike was visiting one of those weekends.

This is the same stuff that got thrown at CU during the so-called scandal. Every school has escorts who show the recruits around campus and stuff. You'd like to think that's all they do. I haven't seen any evidence - yet - that they're getting paid to do anything else. I'm not going to throw them under the bus the same way people threw CU under the bus a few years ago. Once one of these girls comes out and says she was paid by the university to do something illegal, this is nothing more than a witch hunt, IMO.

Right..... except this is state funded. Lisa Simpson wasn't getting checks from CU before she sued the university.

1, 3, 1, 3, 1&3, 1&3 again, 3, 1. Sleep.

And. . . I'm going to punch you in the face!

Agreed. The witch hunt that our football team unfairly went through should not be put on other programs until actual evidence is proven. The article didn't prove anything and just seemed like sensationalist bull****.

Evidence or not, the NCAA should shut it down.

At it's most innocent scenario, these girls are pretty and paid to flirt with recruits, leading them on that they are liked and important to them. These kids leave Auburn (and countless other places where this occurs) thinking that girl liked me. That could be the difference right there. I have a girlfriend!

Keep the girls out of the recruiting process period. Whether paid employees or just program "groupies" like we had here in Boulder. Too many things to go wrong. Sex Scandals kill programs.
