Oregonian article on CU to Pac-12

It's a good read. Competition in other sports, such as cross country, will be nice.

Oregonian - CU to Pac-12
It's nice to see an outside analysis that doesn't automatically call the football team Big XII bottom feeders (even though we've been flirting with that the last few seasons). Noting our all-time record and success in other sports was a nice touch. Hope we can produce on the field/court/track/etc. enough to change people's minds of our perceived reputation.

The comments are laughable.
The comments are, for the most part, how the Gen-X ers of the Pac 10 think. Yeah, they have tradition, but it is 10 or 20 years ago. What have you done lately? The only way to change this is to win on the field - regularly. As much as it stings to read crap like that, I can't say I blame them for feeling that way.

Colorado vs. Oregon is gonna turn into a bigger rivalry for my family than we had with our Nebraska friends.

I have a lot of duck fans as relatives and we have been going back and forth ever since we played Oregon in the 80's to the bowl games in the 90's. They had the last laugh, and they dont think highly of us now. But with the stuff going on now, I am anxious for the future of the CU/Oregon rivalry!

CU/UO isn't going to be much of a rivalry. We won't play them every year. Until we get our collective sh*t together, we won't be anybody's rival. We have a long ways to go.

Oh my god sackman you always misread my posts. I am talking about a family rivalry, in fact Oregon/Colorado has been a rivalry for a long time in my family, and now it's just gonna get more intense. I'm not talking the average fan. Please try and do a better job at reading and understanding my posts. It's no wonder you think I'm a moron when half the crap you read from me isn't what I said.

It won't be a big rivalry when you go to your knees every time the Ducks are mentioned.:smile2:

I don't, I just wish CU had the success the ducks have had over the past 10 years. Now with all this stuff coming out on them, who knows, I wouldn't want that, so maybe you were right all along valdez!

Just kidding. I know your probably one of the most fanatical CU fan on the board. I mean that in a good way too. :smile2:

There are always the teams that give you fits (see us vs KU). Hopefully we can be that, but to everyone in the conference.
