What away game should be our premier road trip for the fans?

What away game should be the focus of our AD to ensure the most fans attend?

OK, so last year it was going to Berkeley along with thousands of other CU alum. This year we enter the new conference with even more interesting locales. So what away game should the AD try and "recruit" the most fans to? I understand as we're in a new conference that we'll have boosted numbers anyway at road games, but there still needs to be one where we all rally around the team and make our voices heard! We've got plenty of top quality places, so vote and say why...

For me, I gotta say Pasadena. In the heart of Pac-12 country, with a wealth of HS talent most likely watching this game either on official or unofficial visits...Add the fact that we have just a **** ton of fans in the LA area and significant numbers in orange county and san diego as well, and this game takes the cake. Additionally, we'll be going up against the weasel. Only a few negatives here for me: as awesome as the rose bowl is, I just enjoy walking through campuses, especially one as beautiful as UCLA's. Last, it's a november game which means it's even further away than most other away games with the exception of the utah game...

PS someone with poll-making experience who can make this into a poll with the seven options (you know...Honolulu, Columbus, Palo Alto, Seattle, Tempe, Pasadena and Salt Lake City)...feel free to help a brutha out.

Oh, no doubt. Hawaii. This year. Now, in the future, Washington, Cal/Stanford, USC/UCLA, Arizona. Hell, they are all great! This is what is so awesome about going to the PAC.

Because we rarely play Ohio State and it is a 1 game series.... I believe this is the premier game this season.

Yeah, good point. Hawaii is a vacation destination. OSU is a football destination. I voted too soon.

UCLA game in Pasadena. Need to connect with our alums in southern california.

I went with UCLA just because we need to win that game. No way do we lose to UCLA and have a decent season next year. It's a must win in a recruiting hotbed. Ensure the firing of Ricky and steal some of his local recruits along with it.

I think you might change your mind 12 times by the time this poll is finished

For seekers of paradise: Hawaii
For Colorado home bodies: CSU
For biggest game day experience: tOSU
For boaters: Washington
For venture capitalists: Stanford
For Halloween debauchery: ASU
For celebrity worship: UCLA
For skiing: Utah

Well, I already placed my order for UCLA tickets. I have a feeling I'm going to try and hit the the LA game fairly often since I can use it as an excuse to visit college buddies.

Utah. Need to claim dominance for reputation, winning tradition, recruiting in the entire Rocky Mountain region.

Washington, so I can meet all of you... I'd have to say cali, need to get our Alums back in the fold.

Palo Alto. Why? First, Stanford likely will be the highest rated opponent we play on the road. Second, the area is great, a perfect destination. Third, with Wazoo as our first conference game, we'll likely be undefeated in league play, in first place. And fourth, and perhaps most important, if it's like a typical Stanford game, there will be plenty of seats ... plenty ... and we could really make a statement in that stadium.

Hawaii....cuz I'm going to be there....and because how often do you get to watch your favorite team in paradise with a margarita in your hand??

Not to mention 1st game with the new coaching staff, 1st game where we will (hopefully) break the Road losing streak & first All-Time Victory in Hawaii!!

NOTE: That my answer to the Thread Title Question is Hawaii....now the Poll question is entirely different and the AD should continue focusing on the California alumni and raking in the $$$ they can provide.

I don't think they sell margaritas in Aloha Stadium. If they do, I'm all over it. I think I purchased a beer for $7 at the Pro Bowl in 2007, though.

I answered Palo Alto. They'll likely be the highest ranked team we play this year. I'll be there, as will a lot of CU fans. There are a lot of CU alumni and fans in both Northern and Southern California.

Pasadena for sure...heart of the PAC-12 fertile recruiting base. Next in my opinion would be Hawaii, there's some future talent in that state. Having said that, we need to protect our own house.

UCLA, and Ohio State for sure at this point - still working out the plans for Utah. For UCLA it's pretty simple - we're going to have a ton of black & gold in there, we most certainly *can* beat UCLA this year, and there's a decent chance that CU's victory over UCLA will send Neuheisel packing.

I have to go with UCLA or CAL. Only because we really need to re-connect with the alum out there and maximize recruiting exposure. Otherwise I probably would have gone with Ohio St.

And your sig quote no longer applies - you are no longer knower of all.

Margaritas are in FACT sold in Aloha Stadium! However, word of warning - they're like $8 (2007/8 prices so maybe $10 now,) very tart, and not enough tequila to make the $10 worthwhile.

I highly recommend staying with the $8 Gordon Biersch beer from the beer garden, and of course, the pre-game tailgate as the main source of liquid fun.

Back to poll, voting Seattle for purely selfish reasons so I can meet y'all and hopefully throw an epic tailgate (even though tix are $72 and the game at Seachicken Stadium)
