We have had a good season 4 of the last 5 decades on the 1 year. :lol::cry::huh::nod::bang:

1961 9-2 1st in the Big 8
1971 10-2 3rd in Big 8, 3rd nationally
1981 3-8
1991 8-3-1 1st in Big 8
2001 10-3 1st in Big 12
2011......
 
13 - 1. We lose a heartbreaker on the road against Stanford (beat LSU in the national championship game).

how's that pattern look with first year coaches....
 
Hold on to your potatoes Dr. Jones, we might be alright with that pattern.

1n 1941 we went 3-4-1
In 1951 we went 7-3 and 2nd in the Big 7

So the pattern is bad, good, good, good, bad, good, good and now good again

Yippee!
