I had not had a chance to see Tyler play in high school until today and the video I see of him in a pro offense brings me some more hope for this season. He has excellent touch on his passes. I think a receiver may have had to stop for the ball like twice. Also he does on some occasion put the ball up in a place where the receiver must make a play, but its in a spot where the receiver is the only one who can. He has good quickness in his drops and in his release. He uses his feet in highschool how he should this year, to fool defenses and buy some extra time, not try to carry the whole team on his back and make big plays that end up getting his spleen ruptured. Only 1 more week until fall camp opens. Cannot wait for football season

I always thought he would be best in the broncos type offense from a few years ago where he throws off the bootleg all the time. He is very accurate when he throws on the run.

We need a big season from him, like top half of the PAC-12 good. Mediocre to bad QB play is going to leave us in a tough spot.

I loved when Embree said that he "wished Tyler was a Junior"*. They seem to have a good relationship.

**** you, Hawkins.

I think people are goign to find out how severly handicapped we have been the last 5 years at the HC and QB spots. We're gonna surprise some people. And I'm calling an upset of one of the big dogs in the conference. Most likely SC.

No other way to celebrate a blackout.

I for one think that we got one of the great QB teachers in the game and it will be eye opening what Tyler does this year.

I happen to think Rip has forgotten more than Helfrich and Kiesau have every known together.

The staff is going to get a pass by and large this season (and nothing is wrong with that), but we should be able to see some positive tangible results from both Scherer and Brookhart this season.

I think Hansen would have been one of the best QB's at CU of all time if he had been given a fair opportunity. He is a leader, has a gun, and can run like the wind.

I'm looking for a Walmart today in Boulder and there's not one. That's the difference right there. Can you imagine a Big12 city without a huge super Walmart?

i think for the season to be a success in the W column, there will be times the O has to take the field late in the 4th and drive for the game-winning points. Unless Brown works some serious voodoo with the DB's....I'm seeing a lot of track meets and 28+ points to win.

Has there been any talk of expanding the playbook since Tyler is picking it up so well? I remember reading that it was going to be quite limited this year.

I haven't heard that, but it's still early. Ask again once fall camp starts.

The receivers need to be up to speed, too.
