here is a link to a story about Wazzou fall camp.

The title of the article is "wsu gets through another day".

It sounds like even the local media has given up. Getting through another day is something a depressed person does or maybe someone who just got dumped.

Perhaps they will be lucky if the whole team doesnt walk into traffic before the end of the season.

Well, he didn't talk about how much slower the offense has become, so I'd say he was taking a pretty positive perspective on the whole thing.

Half the fans on CougZone think Wazzu will win 6 and make a bowl game, the other half have predictably lost all faith. These guys are 5-32 under Wulff, they could be vastly improved and still go 2-10.

They're probably penciling us in as a win as we are them.

I just asked Phil Steele this question on FB. He's doing a lot of game previews right now, he even did CSU vs. new Mexico preview. Lets see what his take on the game is.

How about the battle of the bottom of the Pac-12. Washington St @ Colorado

They should look to hire DII. He would get in there and destroy all hope of those remaining fools that think Wazzu will win 6 and make it to a bowl.

All the pundits ****ing mock us. I can barely read Dr. Saturday right now. His last article on us was a kick in the nuts. I look forward to emailing it back to him when we beat Ohio State.

 That's hilarious!

Here is the thing about the Coogs...they've been pathetically terrible. They're like the Baylor of the Pac-12, only worse. It was a horrible embarrassment that the Beavs actually lost to them last year. :bang: But back to the Coogs...they've blown so many big games over the years that they even coined an expression up in Seattle: "Coog it." Basically it means "to fail," "screw up," "pee down your leg," whatever expression you want to use.

True story: a couple years ago I was on an Alaska Airlines flight from Portland to San Francisco. Alaska has this thing in the NW where they put team logos on the tails of their planes (Huskies, Beavers, Zeroes, etc.). Well, this time I looked at the tail, and it was the Cooger logo. I don't like flying anyway, but this time I thought: "Dammit. We're really screwed." I spent the whole flight praying that the pilot wouldn't "Coog it."

Since you guys seem to like to talk of the glories of the past quite a bit over here, let's not forget that Washington State played in the 2003 Rose Bowl. Not THAT long ago.

Yes but have also only won 5 games and two were against FCS teams.

Our glorious Past! Everyone should know and respect our program based on the entirety of the program not just the hawkins years. However all of the other teams can suck it.

And this was the heyday of Coogar football:nod:

Wazzu is and always will be Wazzu. They're known for Coog'in it

Back to the thread title. Wazzu kinda sad really

Irony?:lol::nod::thumbsup:

WSU is a glorified CSU, on a good day. Hopefully Wulff sticks around for years (and Slick Rick too lol)

I'm quite aware of the Mike Price era. I've got no problems with WSU and wish them the best of luck any time they play USC--though there are ten other teams in our conference for whom I also root when playing USC.
