Scotty McKnight pre season

I was worried he might be injured, but he is finally in the game in the 4th quarter. I would love to see him targeted a few times this pre-season.

Yeah. Joe McKnight has a catch, Scotty does not. Let's get it going, Jets! Scotty's got a new streak to begin!

Not a former CU player but CSU FB Zac Pauga is playing for the Texans, he played for Green Mountain in Lakewood.

Vickers just laid a nice block to help a TD. Getting some airtime.

Vickers blocking for Ogbonnaya. That's a blue-collar duo. Both understated talents who busted their asses in college. Both Houston natives as well. Gonna be fun to watch that combo on the goalline for a team I've never had a reason to care about before.

Scotty ain't makin this team. The Jets have two other young possession (white) receivers in the mix, and one (Logan Payne) got in more reps than seemingly any other Jets receiver (and played a ton of ST), and the other (Dan DePalma) was returning punts. There is another rookie WR (Jeremy Kerley) who is definitely going to make the team as their Brad Smith replacement, and they are loaded at WR to begin with (Burress, Holmes, Mason). Practice squad would be my guess.

It was cool to see Scotty in a jets uni. I doubt he makes the team. Great career at CU. I was always impressed with him.

Scotty still has his priorities in order regardless if he makes the team.

I was at the game last night (I was also the one in CU gear, standing up and yelling when LV took a screen pass about 30 yards). He was getting quite a bit of playing time (both at Fullback and Special Teams). Gonna be tough as he's replacing a fan favorite in Vonta Leach (who was the best FB in football last year). Anything to stem the tide of CSU players on this team. The local sports radio guys have certainly picked up on it and often joke about being from CSU as a prerequisite to play for Kubiak.

I was also happy to see Scotty get in the game. Nothing thrown his way that I saw, though.

The CSU connection is due to the O-Line coach, He is the same coach that recruited my kid to CSU in 2000.
