Game week is here. Karma is already happening. We arrived Sat. Did a couple of great hikes yesterday (unbelievably beautiful, btw) and saw a guy wearing a CU hat (as was I of course). After the obligatory "Go Buffs" from each of us I asked him if he was on AllBuffs. (No). He's going to the game and I told him to look for the All Buffs banner and stop by. I figured the Karmic gods must be good to see another CU fan that far away from civilization. Heading to Hana right now (6:10am local time) with the CU hat proudly on display. I have a feeling good things are in store.

Go Buffs. can. not. wait

No. ****. that is the way I am all the time....always looking to start a conversation about the Buffs...and if so, always send them to Allbuffs.

Pics or GTFO!

I think that Leash is chair of the AllBuffs Welcoming Committee.
ah. well, frumpy needs to stop being so self centered anyways. That "no" was also a hint. Not meant to be a dick move. But then, many things I do are apparently dick moves without ever meaning to be.

I would have guessed that '96 was chairman of the welcome committee.

And Snow, my apologies for not using the sarcasm font. :sad1:

Snow, I finalized the Hawaii plans. Two nights in Kona and one night in Hilo. I hear Kealakekua Bay is a must see.

I think people assume a certain tone (smartass belligerence) whether it's intended or not. If you told someone "good point", odds are they'd think you're being a dick. Folks just don't realize that you're a sensitive, delicate flower of a man who is tragically misunderstood.

N.O.

North Oahu?
about 110 miles off.

Umm, well, am I at least a big flower?

Just south of there is the Pu'uhonua Honaunau Historic National Park. Definitely a must-see, the old stomping grounds of chiefs, "A Place of Refuge" where literally your life would be spared if you could reach it, lots of carvings and other interesting stuff.

Cool. Thanks.

I may be pregaming with some ex-buffs from Hawaii (Dizon, et al) and I'll try to get us all over to the AllBuffs pregame, too!

Not sure if things have changed or not, but that used to be one hell of a drive to get to Hana not too long ago
