Pac-20?

There was a suggestion tonight during the Mike Bohn interview that a Pac-20 is on the table.

Western Division would be the original Pac-10 teams.

Eastern Division would be the Big 12 teams (minus Nebraska and Texas A&M).

The only games against the other division would be the title game between the division champs.

Thoughts?

In the history of bad ideas, that one takes the cake. The ways in which I.do.not.want are epic.

I hope this is a bad joke. I felt like we hadfinally escaped purgatory and I was looking forward to going on the road for some games. I don't have any interest in playing the former Big 12 teams on other than a occasional basis. For example, beating Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.

i dont like this one bit, lip-stick on a ****ing pig. i dont care about tradition.

I'll make a large wager this doesn't happen. Its easily the most foolish suggestion I've seen, and plenty of garbage has been floated.

There was an interview earlier today I heard with the former WAC commissioner. He was talking about the difficulty of making it work with 16 teams (and they even did pod scheduling). That conference ended up breaking apart. His opinion is that 20 is a better number than 16.

Hence why he is the former WAC commissioner. He couldn't make it work with 8.

It isn't going to happen like that. Why worry?

P12 isn't going to add teams just to add teams. The money would have to make sense. Plus the p12 is in the catbird seat. They won't do anything at all unless they feel they have to. The ou and osu play if atm goes to the sec and the b10 adds one is far more likely than some 20 team superconference. Bohn is just spitballin
