T. Boone Pickens fantasies

T. Boone being interviewed on the Okie State Arizona game.

Thinks that A&M isn't going to the SEC because the SEC won't take them if there is litigation. Says that revenue distribution in the Big XII has to be equal and that it will be done in a few weeks. Thinks that Oklahoma won't do anything without Okie light, they will stick together. Thinks that the future of the Big XII is bright.

I think that either T. Boone is into wishful thinking or that he has been sniffing to many fracking fluids.

I think the only thing he's right about is that OU will probably take Okie St with them wherever they go. Ugh.

I, personally, hope he is 100% right.

I do to but I don't think so. One way or another a&m is leaving. The second Texas gets what they think is a better offer, including as an independant, they are gone. No matter what happens if the Big XII stays together they aren't going to go to equal revenue distributions.

Beyond that if/when the B12 starts to crumble OU may be put into a position of chosing to take the money or keep OSU with them, if it comes down to OU getting paid or neither getting paid OSU can forget about OU taking care of them (same thing by the way with KU/KSU.)

For the B12 as long as Texas is a part they are unstable, without Texas they are done.

As much as would love to see no Stoolwater in the Pac, I have a sneaking feeling that Scott's masterplan still revolves around OU and Okie St.... and he would probably love to have UT and Tech, too.

I know that I shouldn't have so much doubt, but Scott's a businessman at heart, and that's the best deal in terms of $$$$$ that he can probably think of swinging. In some ways I think UT's arrogance and snobbery are saving the Pac from themselves.

Anyone watching this game? Arizona doesn't look absolutely terrible. They are bad, but Okie State is very good. Thank God we don't have to play them this year.

Okie State has a lot of what we don't, playmakers. They have a bunch of guys who can make gamechanging plays indivdually, they also have some depth.

Arizona is not without talent but they don't look like a well coached team. They are playing hard even getting beat as bad as they are but they just don't look like they have an identity, something they know they can do no matter who they are playing.

Stoops was a very good assistant working but he doesn't seem to have the same manner in motivating and communicating with kids.

Looks like Zona might has just lost their QB for a while, he is walking around and staying in but took a shot to the lower leg and is limping worse with each step.

I think its safe to say that the Big 9 is going to be saved for a few more years. OU is just trying to get something (maybe a network?) out of their power play.

Boone is just stating the obvious now.

I would let T. Boone **** me in exchange for half of his money. My fantasy is that he would just give me half his money without ****ing me.

With apologies to Alshon Jeffery, Blackmon looked like the best receiver in college football last night.

That's what I was thinking. He looked like an seasoned NFL receiver among boys out there - his confidence is unreal. Looked like a top 10 guy last night.

And it was everything. Blocking, catching, whatever. Even when he dropped that one deep ball, he didn't hang his head and pout or ask for a flag, he sprinted back to the huddle.

Everything he did last night that was the play that stood out watching him. I loved his attitude on that play.
