Baylor is pathetic...

Full page ad taken out in the Daily Oklahoman yesterday and The Tulsa World today to influence the OU Board of Regents meeting today. It's titled something like "an open letter to save the Big 12". The authors cite the economy and cost of flying to PAC destinations on families and the "late start times" as reasons to save the little 10. Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that 3 of the 4 authors have strong ties to Baylor????

I'm not as angry as I used to be. Now it's just kind of cute.

I'll hand it to them - at least they have local media people willing to stick up for them. If CU was about to be screwed out of the conference shuffle we'd be reading DP articles about how being relegated to the MWC was best for CU anyway and would put us on a level playing field, blah, blah, blah.

Actually, it was 2 of the 4 who had bailer ties, but point well taken - pathetic. Their crappy little row boat has sprung a leak and they're stranded in the middle of their bath tub.

Hey, if we splash loud enough, maybe someone will hear us!

The third has a son at Baylor, maybe a bit of a stretch, but, def a tie to Baylor in my book.

I'm not pulling for them. They have pulled some pretty underhanded stuff throughout the whole conference change process. I have no respect for a church school that has no more scruples than that. Come to think of it I don't have much regard for church schools period.

If we could figure out a way to screw both Baylor and UT, I'd be all for it. Unfortunately, the way it looks now is that what's good for one is bad for the other.

That is a true point.
