This was bothering me last night. Talking to somebody at work about the 2001 season, I seem to recall we ended up cancelling a game because of 9/11 and ended up never re-scheduling. Wasn't it a pretty good team on the road? I want to say Washington or USC. Ahhh this is bothering me!:bang:

Washington State. They did re-schedule the game in Seattle a few years later.

Oh yes thats right!!!! Thanks! rep to all!

They were good that year too right? I remember they kicked our ass all over Folsom in '03

That Washington State was team was pretty good, too. They were 2-0, just coming off a big win AT Boise when the CU game got cancelled.

Washington State finished 10-2 that year. They lost to Oregon (in Pullman) and Washington (on the road).

Who was the kid that played OL that year that sang "God Bless America" the first game after 9/11? After all the games I saw at CU (including 62-36 and graduating in there) that is my most memorable moment in that stadium. You could have heard a pin drop in the student section. Really amazing feeling!

pretty sure that Wazzou team played in the Rose Bowl. Mike Price's last year, i think, before his "tenure" at Alabama.
