Crap- Braxton Miller To Start Under Center For Ohio St

I think our only chance is to win the turnover battle by 2+, so I'm all for a frosh QB. Now the Buffs have to get a lead and put some pressure on the young man.

I actually like this. He is a running qb that is a true freshman. So we load up the box with 9 guys and dare him to win the game through the air. OSU is athletic enough that it might not matter, but I think that it gives Colorado a very realistic shot.

Yeah, I remember a freshman named Stafford who came in to replace a total flop at QB for Georgia and ruined our upset bid in Athens.

Hopefully this doesn't go the same way.

His numbers from the Miami game... 2/4 22 yds, 0/1, 7-32 yds rushing, 1 fumble. Not sure that this really changes anything for the Buffs.

From a national prospective, this is turning into a no win for the Buffs. Beat the Buckeyes and we beat a down-trodden, scandal-ridden team with a freshman QB and what amounts to an interim head coach.

Lose and we couldn't beat a down-trodden, scandal-ridden team with a freshman QB and what amounts to an interim head coach.

Only one choice. Go in and KICK THE LIVING **** OUT OF THOSE ****ING TREE NUTS!

Also Reesing @ KU in '06. Although that wasn't an upset bid, that was just us finding a way to lose on the road.

Luv seeing a frosh get his first start for the game. We should load the box, pressure him and see if he can throw it. My guess is we pick a couple in that case.

With the state our program any win is a GREAT win.... let alone in the shoe in front of 102,000 people. I have no clue how anyone would say this is a lose lose situation. We are not expected to win by ANYONE. So technically we lose its expected, if we win its a huge deal despite OSU having issues. So I see it as a win win situation IMO. But it would be a great thing to go lay a smack down on OSU

Why worry about a frosh QB making his first start? Yeah, I remember Reesing, but odds are a frosh makinghis first start will make some errors...that can't hurt CU's chances.

Man I hope these aren't famous last words before we become another team's highlight reel. So sick of seeing MU, NU, UT, Cal, OU highlights and the opposing team is CU.

A win would turn heads nationally, trust me on that one. Getting out of non-conference play at 2-2 would be pretty big as well.

Henderson will have to turn around and look for the ball for that to happen... not sure he is ready to take that step yet. We all know Polk isn't going to pick anything - he would much rather hit someone. Orms will need to keep up with his receiver to make an INT - but if this frosh is pressured and makes a short throw Orms could get it. Career day possibility for Perkins!

It isn't just the QB position, Ohio State is not the Ohio State that people think of from years past. They have a boat load of high end talent but not as much as they have had and are either much weaker or very young at some positions. Just as importantly they have not exactly dominated people so far this year, they aren't going to have the confidence that they normally have in an OOC game in Columbus.

D2 didn't exactly do the Buffs any favors with the talent he left in Boulder but we do have some playmakers and we have a coach who skips the garbage and believes in doing what it takes to win.

We are an underdog in this game and should be but if the D can force some turnovers and we can build some momentum and get tOSU thinking we have a real chance to win this game.

I also don't agree with us being in a lose/lose situation. The majority of the country doesn't know what ups and downs the majority of schools in the country are having. They know that they have seen tOSU on TV a lot and that they have been in some big bowls and highly ranked. A win over them, even a down team, would mean a lot to this program nationally. I don't expect tOSUs down time to last that long and having a win over them will help in recruiting and in general perception.

I'm getting more and more confident as the game gets closer. Miller looked like a deer in headlights vs Miami

Although Miami provided a blueprint for beating up on tOSU, the question remains whether or not we have the athletes to execute that gameplan. I sure hope so.
