Horns fans would go into full meltdown mode. . .

If WVU goes to the Big 12, it's because they are desperate not to be in the Big East when it melts down.

The 9 remaining teams have committed their media rights to the Big 12 for SIX years.

I think the Pac 16 genie is gonna stay in its bottle for at least another 4-5 years.

It would look that way, this is HUGE news for us.

Haha, Boren and OU want to go back to 12, Texas prefers 10. Next obstacle right there, guys.

Also, Texas A&M was allowed to vote today on the league´s future.

This conference is so ****ed.

Boren: "I hope no one will write in the future that anyone is driving the train in this conference."

He also referred to the new media right agreement as "handcuffs"

And the Terry Schiavo of football conferences just got it's feeding tube put back in. Still brain-dead though.

What? Too soon?

I'm just disappointed you didn't find a way to work a Baylor/murder joke in there too.

Best options for Big 12 would be to add TCU, Louisville, and West Virginia. It ain't perfect but it keeps them around alot longer.

Rutgers and UConn get hosed but probably are hoping the SEC raids the ACC for team #14 and one of them gets the lottery ticket (Rutgers probably).

Big East now looks just like Conference USA of 2004, so they might as well invite East Carolina and Central Florida to the picture, maybe even Houston, SMU, and Memphis too. Army, Navy, and Air Force would help prop up some national interest but it wouldn't really push the conference back into the "BCS" level of play. Not sure how long they can hold onto a BCS bid with that lineup. Maybe the Mountain West should workout a "play-in" game with the future Big East champion for that BCS bid and forget the C-USA champion.

What happened to the BYU rumors?

And WVU? Really? That seems like a big stretch to me.

Now being reported Missouri REJECTED the SEC. You read that right.

Texas and OU promised them a load of money and they realized that they would be toast on the field in the SEC, at least that's my guess.

May also be waiting for an eventual Big 10 invite which is what they want and who is a much better fit for them.
