Stanford opens as 29.5 point favorite

oh fer chrissakes.

i rarely bet on the Buffs but they aren't going to lose by ****ing 30 ****ing points. ****ing **** ****. i ****ing hate this. ****. what the **** happened to our ****ing program? ****. we were ranked ****ing 17th and headed for the b12 championship game and were already bowl eligible about 9 weeks into the season in barnett's last ****ing year. since that week, it has been a ****ing toboggan ride to the ninth circle of hell. i ****ing hate you, dan hawkins. hate you. i hate you and your staff and the 5 ****ing years you managed to make an already weakened program, horribly worse, year after year. and i hate you, sensible shoes bitsy hoffman and your lap dog bynny for starting this descent into ****ing hell. now, here we sit, crapping out turd after turd and just lose to the ****ing worst ****ing team in the former p10. and it isn't like they are just marginally worse than the other p10 teams. the next one up is like 100X better than wsu.

****ing ****ing **** **** **** ****ers. we aren't going to lose by 30 ****ing points. i refuse to believe it. **** that.

I agree with Liver. We aren't going to lose to Stanford by 30 points. It just IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Well, I guess if Luck gets stuck and traffic and doesn't arrive until the 4th quarter, it could. But otherwise, we're going to lose by way more than 30....

GOOD GOD! Leash, what issues are you guys having on the team this year?

Might end up looking like nebraska against Wisconsin. Difference is we know we suck this year, fusker fans still think they are something special.

does Stanford have a good defense ?

49-20 and the line would not be made-

Buffs scored 17 on OSU - a decent defense

I don't, I was hoping they'd put 50 on us just to send the message home to the players. At least if they get a ****** taste in their mouth they may not forget what happened to them. Our defense is horrible, but our offense has some great players, just gotta figure out what our offensive identity is so we can bail the defense out this year. T-Mart may not be the answer, but I don't think we have a better option at this point.

**** all y'all.

we aren't losing by 30.

28 max.

****ers.

aiyeeeeeeeeeeeee! aiyeeeeeeeeeee! aaaaaaaahhh. aaaaaaaaaah! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!

Ok, fine. If you say it will be less than thirty I'll believe you.

You know Bay Area traffic better than I do.

We will score 20. I'm pretty sure they will score at least 50. Unless we get like 3 CBs back, then they score 40

I don't know what to expect... all I know is that if this was a Hawkins coached team I would definitely take Stanford +30

When not if it get's ugly, maybe we will get to see Hirschman a little bit. Would love to see him get some pt this year. Doesn't look like there is going to be many blowout wins so maybe the blowout losses will work in our favor.

UCLA was a 28-point underdog last weekend and covered in a 45-19 game which was never in doubt.
Stanford looked content to take what the Bruins would give them, taking eight or more plays on five of their seven scoring drives.
I don't see David Shaw looking for style points against the Buffs, just a victory. (Small consolation, I know, but the issue is whether Stanford will win by more than 30, and I don't think they will).

The Oregon game, though, could get very, very, ugly. The Ducks seem to always want to run up the score ...

Our program is a national joke right now, it's hard times and has been for 6 years now. If this team wasn't so weak mentally and emotionally, they'd be 3-2 EASILY.

But for the rest of the year, all we get to watch is CU get stomped game after game.

Sure as hell can think of 500 better things I could be doing next weekend.....none of which will involve me watching us get exposed as the worst team in the entire BCS

So we're debating whether or not we can keep this game under a 30-point margin. Says it all.

If it was anyone else besides Andrew Luck leading the other teams offense I would agree, however this guy is a future HOF'er. He caught a pass yesterday for 13 yards, one handed, and dragged his toe to complete it. He is a freak of nature. We will not be facing anyone nearly as talented as him in quite some time. He execute things almost to perfection. If we keep the spread under 30, thats quite an achievement for our battered, bruised, and injured defense.

The line was never 28. It was anywhere from 20.5 to 23.5 and Stanford covered.

I will be going to an OKTOBERFEST festival close to raineer next saturday. The next game I watch? Have no idea. Maybe UCLA on the road.
