Utah QB Jordan Wynn to undergo shoulder surgery ...

Didn't Brandon Weeden come off the bench in the 2nd half--as a 3rd stringer--and light us up in the Okie St rally in 2009?

We're like a catalyst for new QBs to excel against. They obviously didn't think much of Weeden because he was riding the bench for whatever ****** 2nd stringer they had.

Yep, just like at OSU this year.

If I remember the Okie St game, Robinson was out, the backup looked like dog**** in the 1st half and was benched for Weeden

Impossible. 3rd string quarterbacks never pan out.

Incorrect. 25 year old 3rd stringers can turn out to be great. 19 year old 4* FOURTH stringers never pan out.

You clearly have not spent enough time absorbing the wisdumb of Sooner nation...

Too bad for Wynn. I was pretty bummed he didn't end up coming here.

Sad, didn't he commit to CU first before changing to Utah.
Yeah, sadly...he's a good player. Was rail thin coming out of high school, but put weight on like a madman.
When he went out last year, it changed things. They looked horrible against Boise State in that Vegas Bowl.

I think Utah is learning why it is tough to compete in the bigger leagues. Depth is key.

I guess you could say the same for us. We had a MWC coach for the last few years and he built us like one.

I was driving through Salt Lake after the Utes second game and listening to the local sports talk guys. They were predicting that Wynn wouldnt be the starter for the whole year, and he would be supplanted by the back-up. Thats all I know of the situation in Utah, but I was surprised to hear that there were some questions on Wynn's ability.

I've watched a few Utah games out here. Their defense is pretty good. Their offense with Wynn was somewhat passable, but now, its pretty bad. We're probably in for a ugly game come the day after thanksgiving.

And you just figured this out?
