Future Home Schedules

Everyone knows the Buffs schedule this year is brutal. So what about the future?

2012
-CSU at Mile High.
-FCS team at Folsom - hopefully a confidence builder.
-Fresno St in Fresno - not sure how they'll be next year, but hopefully winnable if CU plays well.
-Then we'll have 5 of 9 Pac-12 games at Folsom.
Summary - 6 games at Folsom, less travel (fewer/closer away games), a bye, and easier nonconference schedule. Obviously all good things. This schedule alone should help to get a few more W's.

2013
-Similar start as 2012 - CSU @ Mile-High, and FCS at Folsom
-Fresno at home.
-Start Pac-12 schedule - will we get 4 or 5 home games?
Summary - Could it be possible that we get 5 Pac-12 games to make a total of 7 games at Folsom? That could be a huge. Even having 6 games at Folsom with an easier nonconference schedule could do wonders in a quest to get to a bowl, build confidence in the program, improve recruiting, etc.

This makes me optimistic for the future.

Based on their recent play, CSU may be the FCS team we get in 2013.

Does anyone know which 2 teams from the Pac-12 North we avoid in 2012 and 2013?

Looked it up. We miss Oregon St and Cal in 2012. Don't know about 2013.

Yeah, the non division games are a two year home and home cycle. Since we didn't have Oregon St and Cal in our inter-division games this year, it remains the same next year. Even though we did play Cal in that non conference game this year. All four California teams play each other every year if I remember correctly, so would that mean we miss Standford in the next two year cycle?

Schedules

Four home games in odd number years and five home games in even number years. No Stanford or Wazzu in 2013 and 2014. No Cal or UW in 2015 and 2016.

Which doesn't make any sense ...

2011/12 - miss Cal and Oregon State
2013/14 - miss Stanford and Washington State
2015/16 - miss Washington and ... Cal????

Shouldn't that be Oregon? We miss twice Cal twice and keep Oregon on the schedule all six years?
Me thinks not.

Not sure if accurate, but if it is, it could be because the Cali schools always play each other every year. So, maybe we have an imbalance in the schedule and we play one of the other North schools (in this case, UO) in place of Cal and/or Stanford ..... ?????
