Liver: Did you ever visit my sister at Oregon? It was rumored that she would go weeks w/o showering while she attended.

It is a good thing my sister doesn't care about football or I would have to hide today.

Anyone else have family rivalries?

I'm from Oregon, and my family is still there and roots for the Ducks. I used to root for them, but the whole Nike thing drove me away as a fan.

I love it there. What town? I spent a week at Newport.

I decided to go to Temple for law school over Oregon because the cost was $12K difference between the 2. Man, If i only spent the extra 12k per year, I would be happily rooting for OU during the other 11 games this season.

About an hour south of Eugene, right in the middle of ****ing nowhere, about 15 minutes away from a town of 800 people. Yoncalla. I kind of like it there.

there's this girl that I want to hook up with that went to Oregon...if/when she breaks it off with her bf, it'll sort of be like a rivalry...

My wife did her undergrad at Oregon. I lived with her in Eugene for her last year there. I practically went in respiratory arrest everyday from combo of pollen, mold, lack of sun and smog from nearby Springfield. Drinking heavily at the Steelhead Brewery was all that saved me. Anyway, I flipped her allegiance years ago. She's all lady buff now.

My moms side of the family lives in Oregon and are die hard duck fans. My mom is the lone beaver in a family mixed of buffs, huskers and ducks

The Walrus watches the softball cross the plate, sets his bat down and walks away shaking his head sadly. An unseen seagull cries in the distance.

my cousin is a soph at UO. Not sure how much he is in to football though. We'll see once the game starts.
