A few observations about Oregon

It's an inside joke

There were two things that I noticed that drove me insane.
1) On kickoffs, there was almost always one player on the Oregon line that ran past the kicker before the ball had been kicked. It was never called.

2) On multiple plays, the Oregon center lined up on top of the ball. He would then kneel down and move the ball forward about a foot. Really should have been called. If nothing else, our coaches should have pointed it out to the officials.

The officiating was questionable, but had no impact on the outcome of the game, we still lost.

Officiating did seem poor today - but hard to say accurate officiating would have had an effect on the outcome

I didn't like the pass interference call on Henderson. He was lost on the play and never found the ball, but he never touched the guy. It was one of those flags where the ref expected him to interfere and made the call on that rather than what actually happened.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the worst offiating I have witnessed my entire life.

The furthest guy on the right side of the kicker was about 3-4 yards offside on every kickoff - I noticed that too. It was driving me nuts, but as you guys said it doesn't really matter.

Get used to the horrible officiating and the worst part is the basketball refs are worse. I have no idea what, but the Pac-12 has the worst officials every year.

I don't know how it's possible to have this bad of officiating at this level;

I don't know and a lot of Pac-10 fans were asking that for years. I thought Larry Scott said he had cleared it up, but I guess all the **** refs are still in the Pac-12.

If this is "cleaning it up" I really don't want to see what it was before. These guys are getting paid solid money and they're not better than a high school officiating crew.

I may be a Duck fan, but I think the best example of how bad it used to be happened during a Duck game. The bad call did not decide the game since apparently Oklahoma forgot how to play defense, but it did change the momentum.

Officiating in Basketball already drives me nuts. I can't imagine what worse officiating will mean.

can someone tell me what happened at the end of the long TD run? I was on the far side of the field.

No he was tackled about 6 inches into the endzone - he stopped running and we almost got him before he scored.

No, he was several steps into the end zone when J-Hawk jumped on his back. It was a dumbass play and not a bad call...

But no doubt Jack Wood was a very aptly named referee....

I actually thought that was a so/so call and was surprised when the ref pulled out the flag. I think that being a ref must be one of the worst jobs in the country because no matter what they do somebody will hate them lol

It's not that bad - you get paid well to travel and watch football. Better then most jobs in America where you get yelled at on the phone all day 5 days a week behind a desk.

Kinda pissed at JHawk, get your moneys worth when that ****er starts basically walking into the endzone. All seriousness, glad he didnt quit on the play and hustled.

He is incredibly slow. Did he get benched for the rest of the game after this?

Im talking about the **** rb that started walking into the endzone, not Jhawk. I just wish Jhawk throws him into the crowd, gives him the people's elbow, something. Lol he didnt quit on the play. You could see the thinking on his part, he just wasnt able to physically pull it off. We are so out athleted it's amazing we have been in any games besides CSU.

It kind of stunned me to realize this afternoon that at this point we easily could, and arguably should, be 3-5 at this point. Between the injuries and the schedule over the last month, it's getting hard to remember that we were ever actually competitive in a game this year...

I've never noticed it before but yesterday the umpire was wearing a hat with a Nike swoosh on it. You would think a conference officiating organization wouldn't be advertising for the major benefactor of a university in that conference. The no call on Hansen's concussion hit was horrible.
