Lane Kiffin is a bitch

Somebody call the waaahhhmbulance. Kiffin got lied to...anybody else see the irony?

What a crock, I don't believe Kiffin for a minute. "I had a deal with the official" right, sure. Secondly, why didn't the coaching staff instruct the player to go down at mid field and then take a time-out? Poor coaching and Kiffiin is a douche.

First, that was a horible play call. What the hell were they thinking.

Secondly, they got away with one of the more obvious holds ever leading up to that. They should have not even been that close to start with.

Definitely agree on both points, the holding was about as obvious as you can ask for.

The ball spot on Stanford's holding call was completely inexplicable though. The refs completely blew that.

This. That hold was blatant and the ref was standing right there.

Every time I see this picture, my eyes first go to Lane's wife, but almost immediately go to the guy in the blue shirt in the background. "Hey, look, that's Lane Kiffin's wife!"

Amazingly I never saw him.

Ms. Kiffin does look like a huge pain-in-the-ass though. And not in a good way...

I have to side with Kiffin on this one. There was clearly time left on the clock and he was calling timeout before the player even hit the ground. Refs blew it big time.

"We Landed on the MOON!"

in other news......"We got no food, no jobs... our PETS' HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!"

Yeah, they enforced the hold from the end of the run. Not sure how they came up with that decision. You could tell that Kiffen was told by someone up in the booth that that was not right, but he had no idea as to why. He just kept saying "the spot, the spot". If a real coach had seen that they would be 30 feet out on the field or called a timeout to make sure that they got that right.

Kiffin should have gone for 2 in the first OT. He's got no postseason to play for, why not try to end it right there?

You can't call a time-out while the play is going on, I think that's the point.

Kiffin & U$C didn't deserve to even be in the position where there would be a question on if there was 1 second and a timeout called or not. I think it was 2-3 plays before the last play where U$C got away with an obvious hold that wasn't called. If that gets called, U$C never gets a chance to be "screwed"

But, I've got to say that in general, I've never seen as across the board crappy officiating as I do when I watch P12 football. Doesn't matter the team(s), the officials manage to consistently suck.
