  1. So, was the blue out a success?

Just curious, how hard did you have to work to completely miss all the discussions of what was and was not the point of the protest, both here and in the media?? Ok, so I'm real slow. Can you succinctly explain it to me? Everybody is pissed, so what's the point?
  2. So, was the blue out a success?

Sorry for the delayed response, not visiting as often as I would like............. Simply put, after being a hard core Buffs fan for over 50 years, I remember both the good old days, and the bad old days......like when Fairbanks was here - like it was yesterday, and I vividly remember how much...
  3. So, was the blue out a success?

Rushing the field in blue shirts to congratulate the players seemed so strangely hypocritical
  4. The Blue Out helped the team (their words)

Powder blue t-shirts rushing the field after the game struck me as being strangely hypocritical.
  5. Doesn't Look Like UCLA Wants Scott- per LA Times

Does this mean his mom is going to leave the bank???
  6. How many snowballs get thrown at Hawkins tomorrow?

Stupid, stupid thread topic............. just sayin' Show a little class, that's all.
  7. My view on Coach Hawkins...

I think folks don't always understand, or forget the gravity of the alleged "scandal" under Barney. The legacy of those allegations is a cinder and a puff of black smoke for the Buffs.. A lot of the current problems are attributable to the Mary Lacy, or Mary Keenan or whatever her name is...
  8. Any Word If Lynn Katoa will see the field this year??

I wish Mr. Katoa all the very best. We are all excited to see him be successful, and with hard work, he'll have fun playing here with this group! He'll also get a good education!
  9. Any Word If Lynn Katoa will see the field this year??

There is a difficulty among Colorado high school seniors in getting the limited number of slots available at CU. Supply and demand in a growing local population. CU enjoys a good academic reputation in Colorado, as it takes the "smart" in-state students whose families pay taxes here, and can...
  10. Any chance CU will move the date of the Spring Game?

Maybe they'll move the draft on account of the Buff Spring Game!:smile2:
  11. CU's Booster Support

Winning breeds success. Unfortunately, it has taken patience. The program is on the right track, and winning with a clean program will bring with it good, healthy publicity, which this program sorely needs. That will turn people's heads to look at this program again, in a new light. The...
  12. What do we do at RB now?

I think Jon Hawk "graduated" from Mullen in '99.
  13. What do we do at RB now?

And would that have been in class 4a or 5a? With the mighty mustangs, one can never be too sure!:bounce:
  14. What do we do at RB now?

From everything I heard, Jon Hawk was a monstrous dim-witted punk who liked to bully other kids around. It's interesting that the kids in the De La Salle program are usually great football players, big and fast, and not the brightest bulbs at Mullen. I always wondered how they got their...
  15. What do we do at RB now?

As a Buff fan and observer, recent history has shown that not all Mullen grad football players can qualify for top-flight academic institutions like CU. You might remember Maurice Greer as a recent Mullen recruit (a few years ago) that everybody was after. Barnett was proud and happy to get...
