CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

and i think the reason the nfl can be seen as one business is that the 32 primary stakeholders primarily operate as a collective and have a mutual understanding that everyone will be better off if resources are shared and pooled together. in college, that isnt even the case within the...

And that competitive standpoint is heavily influenced by money. And this proposed system ensures even more money for those who already have the most already so the rest will fall even further behind financially and competitively. Any kind of solution the B1G and SEC sign off on will be more...

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

That's the final step, but they'll first try to bully them into accepting an uneven distribution model and I think succeed with it. They'll stay greedy and will try to push the "lesser" teams until they break. Colorado needs to make the most out of the chance Deion Sanders gives us, else we're SOL.

Eric Bien(i)emy's next job speculation, shut out again

just for the record, but this thread has essentially gone from "nfl teams will queue up to hire him and he can pick where he wants go!" to "he keeps getting shut out just because hes black!" to "getting fired by the commanders" to "hes now a college oc under a career position coach at a school...

Eric Bien(i)emy's next job speculation, shut out again

at the higher level of the sport, which exactly my point. but you decided to cut that part out of your quote and drastically altered my statement in the process.

Eric Bien(i)emy's next job speculation, shut out again

the only level where eb will ever be a hc is g5 or worse if hes now taking an OC job under a first time hc with a very questionable resume

2023-24 Coaching Carousel (Fitzgerald out, DC Braun interim at Northwestern)

Not that this should surprise anyone at this point

I don’t see concerts as a serious option as Folsom will always play second fiddle to the stadium that’s in Denver. If you can fill Folsom you can probably also fill the “Denver stadium” and that stadium will in all likelihood always be more modern, bigger and have better transport links. That’s...

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

I think we understand each other in principle. Part of why I’m generally a little more reserved regarding HCDS than others is that I just can’t get a read on him and his mid or longer term plans. Does he see CU as something that can stay with for another five years? What’s his endgame? Does he...

Not just interest rates. I think general inflation will have pushed up prices significantly in general. Labour and material costs will both be affected.

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

If it goes well I think you also need to think about what you do with the South side and possibly even the East side. And by that I mean possibly redoing the stands from the ground up. I am not sure how much longer they can push off doing major work on the West side but I can see a scenario...

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

Correct. Although I think the time frame is slightly shorter. For now it all seems to hinge on the presence of Deion Sanders as CU HC and very much seems to be a Deion Sanders and not a CU football thing. Once we sell our when he’s gone or get the feeling he’s committed to the job long term it’s...

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

That implies that Alabama a) wants a conference and b) wants South Carolina to be a part of it and I have doubts about both. I have seen this exact same thing play out elsewhere. The big teams will keep pushing for a bigger piece of the pie as they win more, contribute more and attract more...

There largely is within the conferences. That will not be the case much longer.
