  1. Cullen Bryant

http://www.gazette.com/news/colorado-63814-cullen-springs.html Great Buff, and a fine NFL player too.
  2. With a new QB, Brian White redux, with the QBs since

We now go back in time, to a different era, with a different American president ... OK, I just want to go back three years, to 2006. The Buffs had a three-way fight going for the starting QB job among the 2005 backup (James Cox), the player with the best arm who looked good in the 2005 bowl...
  3. The seed has been planted...

Shanny made at least $7M a year from the Bronx and no doubt could get something not too far off from that if/when he returns to the NFL. How the heck could CU afford to even be in the discussion with a guy like that?
  4. CU will win the North

Mizzou crushed Illinois on a neutral field and handled a desperate Nevada team's best shot in its home opener. The Tigers are still the team to beat in the B12N. KU still has that great college QB, and the Hucksters are solid enough. Should have won in Blacksburg, which ain't easy to do...
  5. What other Programs would be looking for coaches at the end of the season?

See, I still haven't figured out how to post here! Or at least how to respond to a specific post. Let's see if THIS works.
  6. Hawk: speculation on my job security purely media-driven

Which "national news outlet" covered the game?
  7. What other Programs would be looking for coaches at the end of the season?

LOL! Hey, SYKO, thought I'd give Allbuffs another shot. I did briefly last year, and was overwhelmed by the format. But we'll find out if an old fart can learn new tricks.
  8. What other Programs would be looking for coaches at the end of the season?

Chris Ault, who by many accounts has done a great job at Nevada, is feeling the heat after getting blanked by the Irish and ripped by the Rammies.
  9. Start Simmons or Jefferson - bench Espinoza thread

I'm Mr. Patient, but I'm starting to get bothered by the fact our "athletic" guys somehow never know where to turn, a la J-Fly the last couple of years. What is up with that? At some point, it has to be coaching.
  10. Settle a dispute for me

There's a time to go for it, and a time to rein it in. With an 0-2 team, with a three-score lead over an opponent with a bad offense, I think "rein" gets the nod.
  11. How long to turn a program around?

Terry Frei says five years. He has some close experience, being the son of a former college head coach.
