  1. New Pac 12 division alginment idea

I see a California zipper with mods. Split the NorCal and SoCal schools so one of each goes north and vice versa. They go for this because they'll get to keep the complete intra-Cali round robin thing with 2 games left vs the opposite division's remaining 4 schools. That leaves the NW schools...
  2. How long before I start hating the rest of the Pac?

I dug up wikipedia stuff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pac-10#Pac-10_football_rivalries) and found out most of the Pac-10 rivalries started in the 1800s, UCLA/USC started later. The good news is the first CU/UTAH game was 1903 (http://www.dailycamera.com/cu-college-sports/ci_15323592). But...
  3. if this p12 south thing holds true...

I think the Pac-10 does 18 games of Home and Home in basketball. I don't see them moving to 22 games of home and home. Maybe 16 games with 10 in division and 6 vs North? What about 19 games with 10 in division and 9 vs North? 18 games is too hard for me to wrap my head around. I wasted too...
  4. if this p12 south thing holds true...

my version of football schedule I spent way too much time on this 6-year rotating football schedule of 9 games. lemme know what you think.
  5. Pac-12 format question: Divisional setup

OK, looks like North and South Div. North: UW, Wazzu, Oregon, OSU, CU and UU. South: Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA, ASU, UA. One game each year with NorCal, SoCal, Arizona.
  6. This Big 12 Deal Seems Fishy..

I was just thinking the same thing. Add in some collusion with the Big Ten to take MU, and the big Tex conf is DOA. Then UT and Baylor will be the orphaned beggars of CFB!
  7. So if it is UT, TT, OU, and OSU...

Correction, current Pac-11 AAU members: Arizona, Cal, UCLA, CU, Oregon, UW, Stanford, USC. 8 of 11 ain't bad... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_American_Universities
  8. DMN: UT, Tech, OU, Okie headed to Pac, aggy on the fence.

Why do Texas Tech and OSU think they're getting invites? Neither bring anything to the party. I want Utah and Kansas. Sooners travel with Kansas, and CU with UU. In the end, no embarrassing 4 year community colleges in the Pac-1X. That's what the SEC is for. Don't let the weird orange folk...
  9. Apparently there is a new update from Chip Brown

One No Vote. Pac-10 needs unanimity to add new members.
  10. Buff fans please read -- we need to act now

Wow. You guys at CU are insane. Remember the Cali schools are stuck-up leftists (it's a good thing). No way in hell they add Baylor to appease a handful of reactionary Texas legislature demagogues. The way I see it, if the Pac-10 wants to expand then 2 schools get invites no matter what...
