    Prime is Polarizing

I think EB was our offensive Coordinator when Embree was HC. So, not our first AA OC ever. (sorry, I misunderstood the YAK's post...he said OL, not OC. Where the heck is the delete feature here???)

Thanks for the answers everyone. Much appreciated.

CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

Rather than start a new thread about this, I figured this thread was as close to a logical place to ask this question: how does someone in the old pac-12 footprint watch Big 12 games when they aren't nationally televised? i actually changed cable carriers years ago just to get the pac 12...

And Stanford and Cal in a conference that is based on the East coast. I can't imagine how that's going to work.

    Colorado v Utah - November 25, 1:00 PM MST on PAC-12 Network

I think it might be out of character for our coach to not start our best QB even if he is banged up. I feel as many of you do that it isn't worth risking him for a meaningless game, but I don't think our coach sees any potential win as meaningless. I bet we see him start unless he's really...

They were 1-11 in 2021, then 5-7 in 2022 and then look at them THIS year. We were 1-11 in 2022, look to be 4-8 in 2023 and next year could easily be 8-4 (or 8-5/9-4 with a bowl game) if we are fortunate (especially with a BIG-12 schedule).

oh, and by the way, Arizona's current coach was the coach of the 1-11 season...Imagine if our current coach had gone 1-11. I don't think we would have been willing to give him the latitude and time to turn that into the kind of season Arizona is currently having. (and I am all about responding...

...and should have beaten Stanford. That would have us at six wins and bowl eligable right now. Those who don't see improvement confuse me. Look at Arizona's year by year progress. 1-11 in 2021. 5-7 last year. And now here they are. That's what we shold be hoping for progress-wise.

I heard this predicted by several people before the season started due to our lack of depth. Also, we obviously benefited early because there wasn't much tape on us and our offenseive/defensive tendencies. We saw teams adjusting better to what we were doing each and every week after TCU. So...

We haven't seen if Tyler Brown has anything to offer. But if he's even decent we need him.

So the refs arent even calling blatant facemasks anymore? Our O-lineman just about had his head ripped off after the TD play

I think the skill position transfers have been fine to good. The problem is the larger dudes...both lines and the LBs. But everyone was predicting bad things for the OL and DL. As we heard endlessly, those guys are harder to come by than good skill players. But our QB, WR and DB transfers have...

Yeah, posted that right when you posted yours. Glad I wasn't the only one complaining about it.

I will not miss the Pac-12 refs. Maybe I am wrong, but that hit on Weaver looked ennough like a helmet to helmet to at least warrant a review IMHO.

I have said this already this year, but how we can't have some plays where we get the ball out of the QBs hands really quickly or we run draws befuddles me. We know we have no time in the backfield, but we have QBs standing back there going through multiple progressions and receivers running...

    Colorado v Stanford- October 13, 2023 - 8pm MT, ESPN

Yeah, I would have liked them to double cover #13 for a while and see if they could find another receiver to beat us with. But that's just me.

and so? Did you expect no failures during the rebuilding process? My brother went to USC. He wants his coach fired for letting CU almost come back and beat them. To him, THAT was a collosal failure. Just a question: how OLD are you? I only ask because collosal failures are part of life. You get...

Outlook for the rest of the season

So do you want to fire the head coach? Of course you don't. Do you know why? Because you know things are going to improve. That's not "grading on a curve" or "spinning" that is understanding that this is part of the getting better process. If it was part of a getting worse process than we'd...
