  1. CU to play two FCS teams (one in 2012 and one in 2013)

I'd rather play crappy FBS schools like Idaho or UNLV but i'm happy that Bohn has finally come to his senses. We should play an easy OOC schedule every year especially since we now have 9 guaranteed games against BCS conference teams whereas in the past it was 8. I still want to know why Bohn...
  2. '12 NE ILB Jake Schany (Signed to Ohio)

That coaches are often wrong. In various sports pro and collegiate I've been burned far too many times by justifying questionable decisions with the mantra that, "the coach or GM knows more then I do so I should just trust their choice." I'd be happy to have Schany i'm not saying I don't want...
  3. '12 NE ILB Jake Schany (Signed to Ohio)

  4. Passing on the 3rd down at the end of the game was the right decision

In the UCLA/WSU game on Saturday UCLA was in the exact same position we were in against WSU. About 2 minutes left up by 3 with the ball on 3rd down and no timeouts left for WSU. They threw the ball (to Josh Smith) and got the first, game over. Again, IMO the only mistake we made was not throwing...
  5. 2012 MBB Recruit Profile Index

I've been to Elon, it's a nice school but I dont know how anyone could pass on Pepperdine. Location + great academics.
  6. Some stats to chew on.

For those who don't know that's #120 out of a possible 120 teams; we've committed more penalties then any team in the country. That's just embarrasing. Embree said before the season that they may not win many games but ithey would be a team that CU fans could be proud of. All I see is a team...

  10. So, will success in bball rub off on football?

UVA has some inherent advantages. Great academics, Charlottesville is a great town, really nice campus.
  11. Embree's post game comments

Obviously it's possible my point was just that if Embree thinks the team lacks confidence and he's trying to fix that then he probably shouldn't be telling the team and the media everyday about how they lack talent and only have a couple good players. He's sending contradictory messages.
  12. So, will success in bball rub off on football?

So Boyle's getting better players then Embree because he went to the NIT (not the NCAA's) while the football team went 5-7? So if we had beat Nebraska the last game of the season and went to a bowl game then Embree would be doing a lot better on the recruiting trail? Nevermind the fact that the...
  13. So, will success in bball rub off on football?

What does this have to do with my post or the topic of the thread at all for that matter?
  14. So, will success in bball rub off on football?

Exposure is always a good thing but it's not like a football recruit is going to want to come here because we have a decent basketball team, and "success" for the basketball team is probably a year or two away anyways. For those keeping score Boyle has a four man class and a total of 9...
  15. Embree's post game comments

Not purposely. What did I omit?
  16. Embree's post game comments

I don't understand Embree always talking about how the team lacks talent and only has a couple of good players but then turning around and saying that they lack confidence and they have to expect to win rather then just hoping to win. He's giving contradictory messages.
  17. Who's Your Taddy?

    They rank Wake Forest #14.....

He's visiting Oregon and Arkansas in the next couple of weeks and then will decide between those two schools.
