    I may not have followed the unlimited transfer rule very well. Can players transfer mid-season? I can't see another reason why you would want to break camp in the fall and be short 5-10 scholarship players. I understand having room after your assessment of players in the spring.

    Interesting we are running low again...maybe CP should have taken 2 or 3 more Freshman in the recruiting phase. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised to see us grab around 10 new guys in the Spring.

    I don't know where you thought we weren't thinking Horn would not start...I was thinking Dawson was going to get more PT this season before he was moved on from. I think CP will get alot of guys Playing time this year. I'm not certain our depth chart at WR was as deep as we had hoped last year...

    Last season was odd with the lack of TE's capable at the position. It would be nice to bring 2 more on to help build that depth chart after spring. We could use some blocking TE's.

    We will run enough 4 WR sets that they will be on the field alot. It's crazy to think how much better our WR room is the past 2 years versus distant memory when the occasional walk on would be good enough to earn reps or even start.

    I liked Dawson as the gadget guy / slot guy. I guess he saw everything brought in and decided to head out. Looking at Numbers now I wouldn't mind seeing CP fill the roster with RS or True Soph and RS Freshman if he can. The 2 deep looks highly competitive everywhere in Upper Classmen.

    I haven't heard from any NDSU fans I know that he was for sure getting fired. So, I didn't know his seat was that Hot. Either way he landed somewhere for more pay apparently. Bravo to his agent for that.

    I don't think he was going to get fired but he was on the Hot Seat...I'd take Option B also. He is getting a pay raise that probably has less stress involved. I'd argue a LB coach isn't second in command and that its by title only. Either way I don't think CU should sleep on NDSU who always...

    Without researching it...isn't he AHC / LB Coach. I do believe he received a pay raise and its a better job to develop your recruiting ties to become a bigger head coach someday. But outside of salary...which it sounds like NDSU will pay more to retain the right person. I think he was on the Hot...

    Don't sleep on NDSU. I think they are bringing back a fair amount of their roster and have a QB who is accurate and a QB who is a sledgehammer as a runner.
