  1. '16 FL S Craig Watts Jr. (Verbal to USF)

Well...to be fair, nine of the 13 haven't updated their picks for him since August. And three have him at UNC, only made in last few days. The one that has him at CU was made Aug. 28 and hasn't been updated. Wouldn't put much stock into it...
  2. '15 TX RB Patrick Carr (Signed to COLORADO)

Wow, that's a hell of a quote. Totally get why guys want to go to the football factories, but hearing something like that is incredibly refreshing. The exact thing I'd ideally like to hear from a kid signing with the Buffs. Seems like quite a player, and add that in, love it.
  3. '15 CO OT Tim Lynott (Signed to COLORADO)

He's definitely looked pretty solid whenever he's been in...
  4. Pick your top candidates for DC!

Probably reading into it too much, but MacIntyre started following Kalani Sitake from Utah on Twitter in the last day or two. He'd fit the bill on all accounts. Doubt it happens for a multitude of reasons, but would be nice...
  5. '15 UT LB Gabriel Sewell (Verbal to Nevada)

Since the surprise hasn't worn off, I'll just assume this means Bartlett is in.
  6. Spin mode gearing up

Good work...but I wonder where the Pac-12 got that turnover stat. If CU had 21 turnovers, and opponents scored 249 points off them, that's 11.9 points per possession. Does not compute.
  7. '15 JC DE Nathaniel Robbins (Signed to COLORADO)

Small school that seems to produce some players - Demarcus Lawrence from Boise State (second round pick by Dallas) went there, graduated a bit before Robbins (2009, I think).
  8. '15 UT DT Boogie Sewell (Verbal to Weber State)

Agree. I've seen two different stories, one calling him a "pissed off Rottweiler" and another calling him a "Tasmanian Devil." Much rather have a DT an inch or two short who plays balls out than a big dude who just takes up space.
  9. Commitment!

    Damn...thought maybe we'd cracked it.
  10. Commitment!

I saw that Lynott just now RT'd coach Walter's CUin15 tweet from earlier...hmmmm.
  11. '15 CA QB Kyle Kearns (Verbal to Wake Forest)

I'm (probably stupidly) holding out hope for the Jones/Darnold level guys. But wouldn't be shocked if Buffs wound up getting Bowers or Montez. Sure they're fine players, but don't seem as exciting as the others.
  12. '14 CO OT Isaiah Holland (Signed to Colorado)

Looks like he's not headed to Army after all...but instead has signed with CU! Per Jason Jewell from Scout.
  13. '14 CA WR Shay Fields (Signed to COLORADO)

He posted on Twitter yesterday that he ran a 21.5 in the 200. That would've been top-5 at the California state meet last year.
  14. '15 CO OT Tim Lynott (Signed to COLORADO)

Not losing hope, and didn't read story...but he has ties to Penn State (dad went there) and likes Oregon. Yay, another uphill in-state recruiting battle for a kid with out-of-state ties.
  15. New walk-on at quarterback...

Really interesting story. Trent Sessions was on equipment staff, but will now walk-on. http://www.buffzone.com/ci_25055027/colorado-football-buffs-add-another-qb-spring-ball
  16. '14 JC OG Sully Wiefels (Signed to Colorado)

I believed he'd actually signed with Hawaii, but got a release and returned to ARC for the fall. I remember when he played at Eagle High here, near Boise. Was probably best blocker for Taylor Kelly (ASU QB) and Tanner Mangum (Elite 11 MVP - BYU signee).
  17. '14 CA WR Shay Fields (Signed to COLORADO)

It's a badge of honor for Boise State people...they'll go and say "when Fields mentioned BSU, it got 60 retweets, but when he mentioned CU, it got five. LOL!!!" There are a few who say "don't bother recruits on Twitter," but the rest never listen.
  18. QB Situation in 2014

I don't think the situation is as dire as many are making it out to be. And it is incredibly rare to switch a guy from one position to QB, as opposed to the other way around. There are a few JC guys still available, many with three years to play three or 4/3. Sure, they wouldn't be here in time...
  19. '14 CA ATH Donovan Lee (Signed to COLORADO)

Really like the idea of having a kid like this...it would be awesome if he was 6-3, but if our staff is as smart as I believe, he'll be active in plenty of ways. Living here in Boise, reminds me of Shane Williams-Rhodes, and seems like Lee can do damage on screens, quick passes, fly sweeps...
  20. '14 CA ATH Donovan Lee (Signed to COLORADO)

Committed, per Scout. Welcome to the BnG! Really like this kid.
