    Still holding strong to this argument? MLC has 7 catches for 98 yards through 3 games (two of which were UTEP and NAU). Weaver averages more then that per game.

    I'm not one of those "choose between curing cancer and playing football" folks, but I could understand their argument at a place like LSU when Brian Kelly is probably getting something like $10 million a year.

    Not the argument being made here, but LSU is not a great school to use right now for money in sports arguments. They were just in the news since their library roof is failing and water is getting in the basement. They are apparently 100's of millions behind in deferred maintenance on that...

    From a sheer numbers perspective, it is shocking. From an outside perspective I could see it seeming ruthless and cruel. But then you look at the names of the guys who have been cut.     Coach Prime is just so good at extemporaneous speeches. I've never seen the man reference a note card or anything, but they are always so clean. No filler words, not getting lost in his thoughts. What a great skill to have.
