  1. *** Official 2015 CBI Gardner-Webb @ Colorado Basketball Game Thread ***

Collier and Miller are really playing well. Hard not to like Miller, he's got some pep in his step. Obviously Scott is best player on the floor. Nice to see him finishing the season like this. Every single time the Buffs pressed they got scored on. Usually an open 3. Looks like they're...
  2. Ski's brutal decision

All true. CTB didn't "help" Booker with his original quote. He is a very smart man and said the things he said for a reason. Booker had no choice but to try and clear things up. Whether it's accurate or not, it's too late. Obviously this story has blown up for all the wrong reasons. The...
  3. CBI Line-up speculation thread.

Booker is a guy that his teammates respect but don't enjoy playing with. Seems like it's been this way since his sophomore year. Appears to be a fun loving, popular guy on and off the floor, but that doesn't necessarily make for good leadership. IMO - Dustin Thomas was also a guy that didn't...
  4. Dustin Thomas has left the program

Still would not surprise me if there is one more departure and a graduate/transfer body is brought in. Obviously there is a need for depth in the post and at guard both in the short term and long term, but I'm sure the staff is hoping to get more competitive ASAP. I'm really looking forward to...
  5. Dustin Thomas has left the program

Not at all, I acknowledged that earlier. However I'm not going to ignore his shooting numbers and the fact that he does not have a position. Nor the fact that a guy shooting 31% from 3, 45% from the field, and 69% from the foul line thinks he's supposed to get more minutes. DT is a...
  6. Dustin Thomas has left the program

At 31% from 3 pt, your small forward better be able to create and/or handle the ball. Otherwise what is his game? Obviously DT could've improved next year but at this stage, losing him isn't a great risk. Fletcher has shown more upside at the SF position.
  7. Dustin Thomas has left the program

I don't see a loss here at all, except for the fact this may mean Stalzer is staying on. DT didn't shoot it well enough to be a 3 and didn't rebound or play physical enough to be a 4. He was a serviceable player and showed a little improvement at the end of the year when there was little...
  8. *** Official Pac-12 Tournament Game Thread: #10 Colorado v #2 Oregon ***

Really hoping that Providence transfer can play. Collier finished the season really well which is exciting, but Talton is not a winning player in the P12. X Johnson & Gordon appear to have gotten worse. Enjoyed seeing Fletcher play with confidence, same with Dustin Thomas. Bottom line the...
  9. *** Official Pac-12 Tournament Game Thread: #7 Oregon State v #10 Colorado ***

Really fun second half to watch. Honestly the first half was decent too, but Oregon State made a ton of contested shots. Offensively this was the best game I've seen the buffs play this season... Making shots will do that. Booker's spurt was huge. Great to see him step up instead of ending his...
  10. *** OFFICIAL 2015 Colorado @ OSU Game Thread ***

Booker, Gordon, and Collier. And for the record, I don't mean step up and get wins. I mean step up and be competitive.
  11. *** OFFICIAL 2015 Colorado @ OSU Game Thread ***

That was really ugly. -Time to shut down Josh Scott. He was in a bad place tonight. Lots of credit for trying to play and taking that charge, but the adults need to step in and let him recover. -I don't believe there is a Division 1 guard in the rotation that is playing worse than X...
  12. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

The draft board is always adding Euros. Measuring in shorter than expected and shooting poorly didn't help the stock, he will have to impress in workouts to bring back some draft value. He's gonna have to find a special situation. It happens for a few guys each year...
  13. Colorado assistants get new titles in hopes of bolstering head coaching prospects

Coach Rohn is a huge part of this programs success. He's an terrific recruiter/communicator, plus he does excellent work with the big men. I'm confident he's a star in the making
  14. '14 CO PG Josh Perkins (Verbal to Gonzaga)

He's taking an unofficial to UCLA end of May. Official to Gonzaga will follow. USC, Kentucky, Kansas, still might get visits
  15. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

Do you have a link? I've tried to find the second round salary info but haven't been able to.
  16. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

I couldn't find your post on 2nd round picks, I apologize. Long thread. And I don't think all second rounders are destined for the D league. I think Andre Roberson is. Generally speaking, a guy who is not improving his game in college is going to have a hard time improving vs much better...
  17. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

I didn't say the talent in each draft is constant. I said the talent in the NBA is consistent. The rosters have great players regardless of draft strength. Seems like Andre's dream is to play in the NBA. Getting drafted outside of the first round does not guarantee that. He's going to have...
  18. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

The talent level in the NBA is consistent, so is the roster space. Getting drafted in the late second round doesn't guarantee you make the team, which is the important part since there isn't much difference between those picks and free agents.
