NBA (and other pro league) Buffs

Personally though, I think the Mavs would be the ideal landing spot for Spencer. Watching the playoffs, it was clear that Luka didn’t have sufficient help. Would be an immediate upgrade for Dallas, if healthy. The Spurs, just to be coached by Pop - would have to be intriguing as well.

NBA (and other pro league) Buffs

I think I disagree with the Knicks front office being bad. They have done a great job at building a competent roster by signing players that played well beyond what you’d expect for their salary Julius Randle Nerlens Noel Alec Burks Reggie Bullock Taj Gibson Elfrid Payton Not to mention hiring...

Games thread- Men's bball scheduled to host WSU (Wed., 1/27, 7:00 PM MT, ESPNU) & Utah (Sat., 12:30 MT, Pac 12 Networks)

eh, it’s a terrible loss, but it doesn’t exactly doom the season. They have been burned in a couple conference games with big leads, which is discouraging considering the majority of the team’s top contributors are upper classmen. A split vs Utah is the typical norm, over the last 8-10 years -...

    2020 Draft Buffs

Regardless, off the board at #42. Interesting pick for the Jags.

    2020 Draft Buffs

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Jeudy and Shenault both play out of the slot a lot? I thought they both lined up in the slot at close to 60% - and if so, would be a little surprised to see Elway take Shenault

Kansas Lookalike & Game thread - MBB (Lawrence, KS, Saturday, 12/7, 5:00 PM MT, ESPN2)

I’m not really concerned by the loss, but there were elements of the game that I found to be concerning. Kansas is a great team, but I feel there were a lot of plays where offensively CU was out of control and forced themselves into a lot of low success situations. Not sure if that’s just a case...

    CU Coaching Discussion

I expected a bit of a drop off from last year. Felt 7-5 was a realistic goal. They have probably underachieved by 1-2 games of that mark. Obviously, like others have stated - defense and recruiting are my concerns. With that said, I wouldn't support firing Mac, unless it was bringing in someone...

    Steve Fisher retires from SDSU

I wonder with this news, if there is any chance to get Kell or Hemsley as a transfer. Figure it's a longshot, but Hemsley in particular liked CU to some extent.

    Who gets screwed?

There is not exactly a lot of history in terms of the playoff format.

    Who gets screwed?

I actually don't think Michigan should be applauded either. It was sheer luck that they played Colorado in a year they happened to turn it around. I feel Michigan is heavily overrated, and is mainly in conversation because of the hype that Harbaugh has generated since he got there. They have...

    Bowl projections

I don't see it is different rules for different conferences, when you're looking at all of the OOC opponents that a team played. Even if you want to just look at overall SOS, Washington's SOS trailed Alabama significantly. And the narrative for Alabama is obvious different being the only...

    Who gets screwed?

Honestly, I think there's a good chance Washington is left out. Kinda obvious but ratings are going to be higher when good teams from one conference meet other good teams from different conferences. Washington's OOC is the easiest schedule of any Power 5 team, and I don't think the message the...

    Bowl projections

Obvious argument against them is their OOC schedule. Pac is a legitimate Top 3 Conference, and they more than proved themselves. But if the Committee wants to make an example out of them to encourage Universities to avoid creampuff like OOC's - they could be out. Look at Oklahoma. they could...

'17 CO SG D'Shawn Schwartz (SIGNED to COLORADO)

I think it's great that he added a NCAA 2K clip, at the end of it. Can tell he really wanted to come to Boulder.

Spencer Dinwiddie - NBA PG (BKN Nets)

Odd timing, since he was on a non-guaranteed deal. Would think he'd be given some minutes in Summer League, and have a chance to show trade value to other teams. It's a move that doesn't make sense, unless he's having injury problems to such an extent he wasn't going to be able to play

Josh Scott to be on Nuggets Summer League team

Good for him to get some experience at the NBA level. I understand why he'd want to sign with the local team and everything, but with Denver's overall depth at power forward, it's not really his best chance of making a roster. You have Faried as the likely starter, they like Lauvergne a lot...

Spencer Dinwiddie - NBA PG (BKN Nets)

Because of the Pistons point guard depth, I think the Bulls are a much better spot for him to develop. With talks of Noah leaving, and rumors of Rose being dealt, he should have every opportunity to get some minutes and develop. Obvious negative, is that the team is going to probably be really...

Which of the big 2016 road upsets would you most want?

Michigan because there is obviously a mental side to football. Winning that game, and perhaps taking a Top 25 team into Conference play would be huge for the team's confidence. Also, it would make the fanbase go nuts early into the year
