'23 CA QB Ryan Staub (Signed to COLORADO)

3 short observations. 1. He's not afraid to throw into a tight window. 2. He already knows how to slide. 3. He runs the read-option well. (Not sure that will be in the playbook with a run-first-and-foremost OC and a west coast O HC).

    2022 Transfer Portal

I forgot about Faulkner, however he could be looking at a school that doesn't have a schollie available. I guess he would have to take a walk on spot just to practice. And yes, the eligibility question is huge. If players are allowed to transfer in-season and be eligible to play immediately...

    2022 Transfer Portal

Curious how this would work. There prolly aren't many teams with open 'ships this soon after the Nov. signing period. Would he take a walk-on spot for 1 semester? If he transfers for the spring semester I presume he would not be immediately eligible. Or is that wrong? The timing is kinda...

    Championship game weekend 12/3 - 12/4

Thanks Mtn. A couple of notes/opinions: I didn't know Cinci had 4 losses. Hell, I didn't know they played 16 games this year. They must be tuckered out. I like the qb from Pitt, but I think I'll pulling for a Fake Florist victory in this one.

    The 2021-2022 Coaching Carousel

Except that big game Bob (as he's known down here) was dc at Florida before taking the norman gig. That said, many of the land thieve faithful were happy to see Venables leave. Odd that there's been a 180 on the attitude towards him now that he might be a candidate for HC. Does he really want...

USC is hiring Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma as its new HC

Probably, but all parties remained tight lipped the whole time. If true, nothing leaked, everyone involved had their lips sewn shut. Hell, they prolly don't have mouths, now that I think about it.

USC is hiring Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma as its new HC

Not sure I totally agree with that. Their bread-n-butter has always been recruiting in Texas. They didn't mingle much with the left coast until after the Holiday Bowl about a decade or more ago. With Riley it was a national thing. He signed Rattler (AZ) and Williams (DC), both #1 rated hs...
