Listening to the Hawk show. He just got finished talking about his relationship with Clint Hurdle and how he and Clint are very similar. And, you know, I can see that. They are very similar.

ABC is waiting for the outcome of the KjSU game before making a decision on the KU game.

KOA needs a fusker filter. Some guy from "Golden" called in and accused Hawk of nepotism for having Cody as the starting QB.

Hawk isn't real interested in answering either stupid questions or questions with obvious answers. There are way too many callers that want to show Hawk how much football knowledge they have. Mark Johnson just said "We have had an "interesting" show tonight," and everyone laughed. Lots of wierd calls. If you ever call in, ask a smart, succinct question.

He said teams that throw for 350 + yards usually lose. He really believes in running the ball effectively.

I was at the show tonight at the Harvest House, and let me say Hawk was getting very annoyed with the questions. You could see it in his face. He gave real short answers and just kind of laughed them off. There wasn't one good, solid football question. One guy said he was a 51 year old student and asked Hawk if he could be the waterboy for the team for his work study program.

I think the guy that accused Hawk of nepotism for starting his son posts on Buffzone.com as 2buffs or something like that. Very annoying guy. I'm not sure if it's the same guy but that is what he said on Buffzone.

I've haven't listened to a show like that or a CU postgame with callers in for a long time(maybe 2003 on the internet was the last time I listened to a CU postgame with callers I believe) but from what I remember it didn't seem like we had the brighest fans calling on their questions or "critiques" about the game.. Seemed like a bunch of morons out of touch and still caught up in the 89-94 Mac years thinking when we put on the jerseys we are automatically going to be as good as those teams..


Personally I think it has to do with the weak sportstalk radio the Denver sports area has.. Dumb and very weak radio hosts like the Logan's/Hastings, Irv and Joe's, etc, etc brings down the IQ of all the people that listen to them...

First time I've been free to listen this year and I was disappointed by the lack of meaningful content too.

Even the "atta boys" seemed weird and half hearted. What a waste for Hawkins!
